Terrible bank! Staff is very unhelpful. Told us to verify funds ourselves for a cashiers check. Do not recommend! Place is a big business since the merger vs when they was a small town bank!

This bank is pathetic, unreliable and just plain not worth it. I opened an account to have my ssi deposited monthly as well as govt stimulus amd they closed the account without so much as a call and as I depend on my ssi and cannot receive it a when needed now I will be late on my bills. Way to go suntrust....you truly love and care for your community. Not to mention in the short time my account was open....I had to call customer service which is overseas to have them open my access to mobile banking damn near every single time I used it..

I visited this location and received help from Justin L and Hope P on a Friday near the end of the business day. I am from out of state and have an account with an out of state credit union. This made it difficult for me to cash a school issued refund check, as the check was too large for mobile deposit. I was turned away from the Suntrust in Staunton, so I drove to this location in Waynesboro hoping to get help. Justin and Hope went over and beyond and helped me out in getting my checked cash that same day. It really turned around the day I was having. I plan to return to this location and open an account soon. I had previously decided not to open an account after being asked at another location, but after working with Justin and Hope and experiencing the customer service at that location- I definitely will.

Friendly atmosphere. Everyone from tellers up know their job. So helpful when I, a senior citizen opened an account recently! Explained every detail so understood.

With their fee structure, lack of willingness to pay interest, and lack of customer service Truist is the worst brick and mortar bank around. With their inability to answer banking questions and their horrible attitudes the Waynesboro branch has to be the worst branch of a bank I have dealt with. Make no mistake, this is why we are leaving. They offer nothing of value to their customers. They don't even have a drive thru ATM, they are so out of touch you still have to park your car and go to the ATM machine. (When it is actually working) They are even too cheap to add an awning to keep their customers dry when it rains. I really wish Google would allow me to give less than one star.

I'd burn my money before giving it to this bank. It's outdated, slow, always doing "maintenance ", never can log into accounts, no notices or anything as to what's going on, insane amounts of 'fees'. Use chime or capital one, I hope this place bankrupts and puts itself out if misery.
