Came into the branch to open a business checking account and found out the person who handles it was on vacation, so I asked if there was someone there that knew how to open one. The woman said she'll try and figure it out. 1.5 hours later, I waited and they could not figure it out. Why not get someone on the phone the entire time and have them walk you through it? I waited and waited and finally, I just said cancel everything. By the way, no one in the branch wears masks. I went to another bank, everyone wore a mask, opened up an account, and was done in 45 minutes!

I started banking here last year - they were the only bank in the Waynesboro area still processing the 1st round of the PPP loans at that time. Worked with Jim Hyson initially, then with Pat Martin. Pat also assisted with the 2nd PPP loan, and the experience was equally pleasant. Both Jim and Pat were very helpful and professional, and I am so grateful and pleased with the service they provided.

I opened an account at this bank a few months ago. I've noticed that that at least two employees at this location should not be working with the public. To get a smile from these two is an act of Congress. This all cilminated yesterday in the drive thru. I had my boyfriends paycheck which he endorsed. I tried to deposit some and cash out some. I asked her if she needed any id and she said no. Then asked if i had an account there. Downhill it went. They would not cash out the check because they wanted him to come in...in my eyes basically accusing me of stealing his money. They argued with me because i knew they had done this before but they reviewed all my files and said i hadn't. Ok. They gave me the check back. Went across the road to dupont and bam done in a few minutes. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because i spoke with a manager over both banks who was compassionate enough to listen to me. He told me that yes they like to see the person when doing this BUT they could of just deposited it since he endorsed it. But they never made that an option. Whomever is the manager of this branch really needs to make some changes and if he/she is the problem then it's time to clean house. This bank has forgotten my motto "without customers you have no job". I've worked in customer service my whole career. Customers are the life line of any business. I'm still debating closing out my account and moving it back to DCCU.

The worst bank EVER! I had a cashier's check and she wouldnt cash it because she said that it could be fake. I then went to another bank and they said all they would have had to do is verify it in the computer. The teller also had a dog there and it kept barking at my service dog the whole time I was there. Just very very unprofessional! If you can help it DO NOT GO THERE.
