Service is poor and rude as a company all together. My girl friend pulled money out of the atm during off hours was shorted 34 dollars from the money she pulled out of her account. we called explaining the situation right after the situation happened not even 10 minutes went by still in the their parking lot. She left a message and a number explaining it and waited for a call. when they called their representative was beyond rude making unprofessional remarks. "At least you put something in your pocket." Like that is her own money she worked hard for and needed and you took that from her. I say take your money else where. At least when problems happen other companies are respectful.

I’m a new customer for an auto loan and was very pleased with the experience and customer introduction to DFCU. However, I was really surprised to learn the limited options available to pay back the loan. Payment book coupons was the first option presented but isn’t something I have used since my first car in the 1980s. Billpay through an external Bank is available but requires a cooordination of hops through accounts to pay the loan. Too many potential points of failure for this option and wasn’t recommended. Mobile deposit is a service in their “app” but won’t work with a savings account that was created. There also is NO WAY to link external banking accounts to autopay electronically each month.
Another point of frustration which required a follow up call Is the timeliness of receiving the payment book. The auto loan dealer paperwork was completed on 10/16/2018. The first payment due date to DFCU is 11/26/2018. Payment book has not arrived as of 11/18/2018. Looks like I will be taking a trip to a branch because I’m running out of business days to submit and have the payment processed. ?
Seems like I’m going back in time but I truely hope there is maturity and flexibility with more convenient payment options in the future. If DFCU is not your primary source for "banking", I would highly recommend researching for a more established and value add provider.
UPDATE: I was able to utilize a Billpay “paper check option” through my primary bank. This will automate the payment process to DFCU and provide me with electronic documentation. Not sure if all banks can do this but this was an alternate method since DFCU cannot perform electronic transfers.

I love this credit union! I have been a member for over 4 years and have received the best service throughout those years. I look forward to a long and beneficial relationship.

Friendly, fast, competent tellers. Always smiling, always willing to help. Coin counting machine in the main area.

Basically accused of me trying to cash a check that they thought I stole and they said they thought it said Michelle when my name is Michael. Also they looked up my account when they told me they couldn't cash my NY state star check to double check if I was lying…they treated me like criminal and embarrassed me….and refused to see my id! The service is horrible very unprofessional….
