I already had a previous loan through Lendmark Financial in NC which I paid off. Wound up paying $5500 for a $3200 car that is supposedly worth less than $500 a year later is the max a dealer can offer me for a trade in value. Anyways I wanted to go with Lendmark again despite the constant phone calls from them. Their website application process bases everything solely on the applicant’s credit score, they didn’t even ask for my income information, just enough info to make a hard credit check and deny me instantly. My score may be in the 500’s but I currently earn $5k a month and I was instantly denied for a $11k loan despite having positive account history with Lendmark. I don’t recommend applying for a loan online here bc they will not consider your income, only your credit score (even though FICO and Equifax have semiannual screwups where they calculate lower scores for millions of people with their system glitches etc, but not bc of nonpayment). Very unfair and unfortunate.

DO NOT BORROW FROM HERE. I have had two accounts with them. Never had a delinquent payment. My loan became a few days late (6) and they have called me several times per day, call my mother (who is listed a reference) and even googled the number to my job and called my work phone. The will harass you like no other. When I called and asked was this protocol the lady stated "late is late" and "just keep your account current" No worries loan is closed and i will NEVER recommend anyone to you. After two years this is how i get treated. No worries i will take my business elsewhere. Thank You

I have borrowed from this institution a few times and I did not have a negative experience. I knew when I borrowed from them the interest rates would be high, but I was in a bind, so go figure. The Customer Services Reps. (CSR) would call me the day of my payment or sometimes a day or two before, which I totally liked, so I would avoid any late fees. That's good Customer Service! I have since paid the remaining balance (nearly 2yrs. early) and this will help my credit scores. All of my loans were created at the Laurel branch and the CSR's were always pleasant to me, both in person and on the phone. Please note, there was a period when payroll was delayed due to a Government shutdown, but again I explained the problem, my account was notated and I made my payments when the funds arrived in my account. No harassing calls... Just good business. I think if you communicate with the folks you borrow from, and/or just take out the extra insurance for lost job payment insurance, etc. you will have a good experience. Life happens and it happened to me, but I believe if you to keep it professional and not personal you will have a positive experience. The moral is, if you borrow, you have to pay it back. It's just business. :-) Would I borrow from them again? I hope that I'm never in a bind again, but I would as a last resort. The interest rates are just too high for me. I have very good credit and a above average FICO score, and they still hit me with a high interest rate. Four out of five stars only because the interest rates are not competitive. I think if you try to squeeze blood from people that are in a bind, this will be a problem in the short run. High interest rates should be for people that can afford it! Each case is unique and all folks with low scores are not deadbeats. I should not have been issued a high interest rate, but again I knew what I was agreeing to and I would pay the loan back before its full term to avoid the fees.

High Interest Rate. You will never finish paying. Keep buzzing your phone. The manager “Tim” at the Laurel Maryland branch has the worst customer service ever. He has No good communications with their attorneys “ “Fradkin and Weber”. I ended up getting my bank account gannished due to thier lack of communication after making my monthly payments and Tim agreeing to postponed my payments. I will never recommend this financial institution to anyone. Do not fall for thier scam.

Very helpful, Christina was very nice and answered questions I had. Interest is high but they gave me a unsecured loan while others wouldn't. I would recommend to anyone who wants to rebuild credit.
