This year is the first year I have ever had problems with the Charleston branch which is where I have been banking for a few years.
I found out there was fraud NOT because the bank called me and they never planned on calling me. So was I not going to get my money back? And were the people who used it going to continue to have access to my card?
It has now been a MONTH and I am still waiting on a debit card. I have called 5 or 6 times at this point and being promised a service I am not being given. My DEBIT CARD.
I am given odd excuses every time I call. Absolutely no one who works there would want to be in my shoes and yet I am receiving no help. I am incredibly disappointed in the service as of this last year.
To boil this down- their service with the customer is very POOR.

The Charleston branch staff are usually helpful and pleasant but omg this bank has the most IMPOSSIBLE, INCONVENIENT, OUTDATED ONLINE experience EVER!!!! The app AND the website are almost always "experiencing technical difficulties"....CONSTANTLY forcing password changes which can only be done on the website, not the app....and the overdraft fees are VICIOUS...once you get one, you're basically screwed for life coz there's no getting out of that hole if ur low income....

They've been fantastic for everything from helping me start a business to buying a home. Absolutely no way I'd ever even remotely consider going anywhere else. These guys are like family!

The bank closed my account for being 50 dollars overdrawn, the said they mailed me notification although i had stated i no longer live or recieve mail at the old address. I moved unexpectedly, didnt think this would happen without the decency of a phone call . Do not do business with these people

The employees are easy to work with and are great & friendly people. I've never had an issue about anything or anyone so I recommend them to anyone.

No body knows what's going on here. Money orders that weren't pulled from my account till months later, checks bounce when there is sufficient funds, extremely long large check hold times, mobile app never works, ATM has been down for a year
