This bank has lead my in the wrong direction far has handling my account. I have been wrongfully charged overdraft on my account. I Call to speak to someone and was told I have to come into bank because my name is not on an account that I made at the location. Then all of a sudden my local branch is closed due to covid and hours are pushed back. This bank has made it hard for me to handle my business all because they forgot to have me sign one single document or maybe they misplaced it or it never got uploaded, whatever the case maybe its unacceptable.

This bank is a joke to be honest. They always want to say there is a change shortage when there isn't (I know there isn't when no other store in my district has trouble getting change). Today 8/20/21, the post a sign saying they are going 10-3 drive through only. Ok cool. Here we are 11:55 and people are waiting for them to open. If I could give less than one star, I would because this is not the first time this has happened.

So many people posting negative reviews about temporary issues like having to close down for Covid.
So let me write a review as a 8 year user of this bank.
They have a very convenient ATM that performs not only withdraws, but also deposits. You can deposit cash or checks here, and up to 40 of them in one go.
Every time I've gone inside to ask questions, or anytime I've used the online chat for support, I've always had the best customer service and my issues have always been resolved. Not to mention VERY secure and quick to make your account secure if you've lost your card. On that note, I would still appreciate the option to have an Authenticator app be useable for their online service - that's really the only improvement I can think of.
It's a place to store your money first and foremost. I personally have never tried to get a credit card, or savings account with this bank so I don't know how well the interests rates work. However, it fully suits my needs so far and is highly convenient.

Worst customer service ever. Don't take cash deposits. Only 1 teller inside and 1 working drive-thru. That's on a Friday. Will never use them again. Bank local.

We have had good experiences with this bank, I think for a person to have a better experience choose a personal banker Ashley Foley has always been very helpful. I like this bank and will continue to use them.

We've been with BB&T (Now Truist) for almost 15 years. It has went down hill and fast. Some how my statements have been changed to paperless and its not happening on my end. I've had to personally fix this issue myself 6 or 7 times a year. When you call, no one answers and when they do, it's always a hit or miss if you get a nice person.

I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! This place promised me overdraft protection. The first time my account was charged and the payment process was supposed to be declined, DIDNT! I’m now negative in my balance when I was promised overdraft protection. Im highly annoyed and once I get this situated I’m closing this account. **** TRUIST
