I went in to make certain they had my information updated. The lady I spoke with said everything was fine. We went out of town and called to initiate use of debit card out of state. A woman named Simone said we would have to go into the office and update information. We have already done that. She would talk to my husband not to me, he is first on the account, although it is supposed to be joint. She entered his out of town status but would not mine. Now I can not use my debit card, when entered online, states invalid number and cv. Code. I do not think they know what they are doing! They do not help you. We had already updated. And verified our information. Now all of a sudden no one will talk to me? What happened to being joint owners? I feel like a second class nobody due to Georgia’s Own treatment of me. I will not bank with a financial institution that does not treat me as joint owner, as I am supposed to be. I can take my 2 direct deposits and bank elsewhere. It is apparent they do not want my business. Well guess what, I do the banking and it will be closed as soon as I can get direct deposits and automatic bill payments changed. They do not want my business, I certainly do not need them. There are other financial institutions in Waycross.

I love the bank in Blackshear that I typically use.
Unfortunately, I have lost my debit card and didn’t realize until I got to Waycross. I have never walked in a place where the people were so unwelcoming and acted so miserable. It’s a Friday! The young blonde lady at front acted as though she was miserable. . As though she could do with ones business without.. I won’t make the mistake of coming to this branch again.

Been a customer for 10 years, ever since they switched to Georgia's Own I have had nothing but headaches.
They've canceled my debit card on 5 separate occasions in the last 3 years. Each time I was either out of town or traveling out of town. The last time was 3 days ago and it was a "mistake" on their end and there was "nothing (they) can do, sorry". Went in a few minutes ago and wasn't even given an apology in person. Just a simple eye roll and handed me my money.
No heads up, no warning, nothing. They have cost me upwards of $1k in charges from payments not being able to be processed on my card, therefore I am glad to be taking my business somewhere else.
Best advice I can give is be weary of who you bank with.

The ladies in my local branch are amazing. However, it is a nightmare calling in for anything that I need help with to the 1-800 number! Absolutely terrible. I was waiting for a human for over 30 minutes on the first call until I decided to get a call back. I NEVER received a call back. I send messages through my account login and most of the time don't get anything for a day or two.
