I've found everyone I've interacted with at StagePoint to be fantastic, competent, and genuinely helpful - especially Jake Anfinson, who I've interacted with the most. I think they really live up to what makes smaller credit unions great: a focus on their customers, a desire to help, and no sales pressure or hidden fees that can often make national chain banks so agonizing to deal with. I'm trusting them to finance my home construction, and I don't believe anybody would provide me a better deal or better service. I'm very glad I found StagePoint.

I only use this bank for vehicle loans, mortgage payments and my HSA. However, I love how friendly and professional the employees have been. They always have a smile and great attitude. Keep up the great work and thank you for all you do in the community.

When you call, no one answers. No one returns phone calls either. Texting is great... when they get back to you in a timely manner. So happy to continue business with the other credit union in town.

Wow, I really feel terrible reading some of the negative reviews because that’s not how I feel about this business at all. I switched to Stage Point about a half year ago from first interstate and it is so much better. I can lock my account whenever I want and I know exactly what’s going on at all times. No hidden weird fees and I always have received amazing customer service through them. I moved to Hawaii and am continuing using them as my credit union just because of how fantastic the service is. I got a personal loan with them and paid it off early, and they approved me really easily and the next day. I have rough credit from 2020 and COVID, but they have helped me get into loans and approve me for an awesome checking account to help me get my finances on track. I am now looking to open an auto loan with them and there’s nobody I would rather go through. I completely trust stage point to take care of me and my family, I feel like my money is safe and I know exactly what’s going on at all times. If there’s an issue with a charge they dispute it immediately, and I have never felt like they ignored me about anything. Very clear communication and friendly staff. Thank you stage point for always having my back!

Stage Point Credit Union (STPC), a banking business here in Laramie, claim to work harder for their customers. My experience with them proves that their claim is totally inaccurate.
I recently had a vehicle loan with this company. When I purchased the vehicle, I promptly purchased Auto Insurance. Somehow STPC never received proof of insurance. They claimed they sent me two letters requesting proof of Insurance. I never received those letters. They consequently started charging approximately $350 a month for no proof of insurance. Almost 2 years later I checked on my loan and found out they had been charging me that fee. I was amazed to find out STPC never personally contacted me to tell me about these additional charges. I then showed them proof of insurance and they said they couldn’t do anything about it even though I said I had insurance from the beginning. They were not concerned that my loan would have not been paid off for 100 years?
If they truly would have worked harder for me, they would have made a simple phone call to verify if I had insurance. In their words that would be too much of an effort on their part with all their customers in addition they kept pointing out that it was solely my fault. They only did what was required on their part which was 2 letters that I never received. As you can see they will only do what is REQUIRED and NOT work harder for you.
I have worked for large corporations and in those companies if you only did what was required you were considered a low value employee. Those individuals were eventually released and we hired new motivated employees who went beyond expectation. This credit union never met my expectations.
I would never recommend this SPCU to anyone. I had to cancel my loan with STPC and took my business to another local credit union. I suggest all those who read this comment take your business to a company that will not see you as a number but as a person that they will truly work harder for you.
