This bank has been nothing but a great experience for us in little over a year we have been there.
My husband and I also highly recommend Calvin Hoyord out of the Stevens Point, WI office if you are interested in getting a home loan.
Let me tell you with all the challenges we faced in our little time of purchasing a home we had... Calvin was there for us every step of the way and if he didn't have the answers he got them quickly to us.

They need an experienced IRA person. I went there today on 04/27/2022 to move an IRA to another Credit Union, signed papers and was given a check, went to the other credit union to find out I was missing essential documents to complete the transaction. Several calls were placed back to CoVantage to obtain the correct documents and several hours later I only had received half of what I needed when it was past the closing time. Have to try again tomorrow and waste more time and gas going back and forth. It just doesnt pay to try to do business in person when people who are supposed to be professionals dont know what they are doing.

My husband and I went through covantage in July 2020 for our mortgage. They were great to work with up until the point of no return in our home purchase. They sent us paperwork with a higher interest rate than agreed upon and our mortgage rep (Ashley at Stevens Point) wouldn’t return emails or phone calls less than two weeks before closing. Finally I called and talked to a manager who worked with us. I assumed it was a specific employee problem and moved on.
Now I called to make a payment to bring out loan to 80% and have the PMI removed, which is what we were told would be the case. I’m told, “well it’s a Fannie Mae loan and sometimes they require 78%”. When we closed on our mortgage it was made clear to us if we paid the principle down early the PMI would be removed and now it’s a, maybe it will come off maybe it won’t. And apparently they can’t investigate before you make a payment, you just have to pay and hope it wasn’t for nothing. Covantage is not customer focused and will point-blank lie to their customers to ensure their business. I plan to refinance our mortgage with another financial institution because our experience has been so awful.

Worst loan experience ive ever had! No communication, took over two weeks at times to get a response. Would not recommend.

Went to inquire about a loan for a home, was told I would be reached by that day or the day after about information. Was also told about receiving an email, but have not heard anything back. Very disappointing about the communication.

Been a member of CoVantage for a long time now and they have been great to work with for anything whether it be using their checking, savings, bill pay, and even various types of loans. They also typically have their loan interest rebate every year that you get a percentage of your interest back which is awesome. I find myself always going to the Plover location now even though I'm in Point because I love the new advanced ATMs that you can make deposits 24/7, it's game changing. Hopefully the other locations will at least get one of these. Overall I have nothing but good things to say about CoVantage.

I honestly would never recommend anyone get a loan here. Shop around, there are so many other credit unions or banks to choose from. They definitely do things a lot differently here, for sure. They do not work with you in financial hardship, even if you've made on -time payments.

Extremely incompetent as a Credit Union. DON'T do BUSINESS here! Refusing to refund late fees, and they lost a proposal from Greenpath for my debt management program. They don't document my account when I call EVERY month to explain things, etc. It's ridiculous!!!! Very unprofessional and customer service is horrible. I don't know how they manage to stay in business!!! Worked with Bob K and other staff who resolved my problem 🙄 quickly! This happened AFTER I went to local branch in person.
