I have been with this bank for over 4 years, and I have had countless problems with them. One problem I have had multiple times was my card being locked for no apparent reason. I heard from my friends who were with WCCU that they had the same problem. This was incredibly inconvenient as I would have to call them every time it happened and they obviously weren't open 24/7. Whenever I would contact the bank for something, the person answering the phone was often rude. Another problem was depositing cash. I used to work somewhere where I received cash tips so I would deposit the money at the bank every now and then. When I did, they would often ask "How much money is this?" as if it isn't their job to count the money. The problem with this is they would ask it rudely, abruptly, and before they even counted the money. One time I went in with a total around $330, and I asked to deposit it. She counted the money and asked me, "Does $100 sound right?" and I said no. She counted it again and said, "Does $200 sound right?" and I replied no. She then counted it for a third time and said "Does $330 sound right?" (The exact correct amount) and I replied yes and the money was deposited. Another issue related to my card being locked is there are certain websites that you must call WCCU before you can buy from there, one being BestBuy. I called them and asked why I couldn't buy stuff from BestBuy online and they said it is because BestBuy is a very fraudulent website so I must call them 15 minutes in advance before I buy from there. I asked if they can make an exception and they said no. This was very frustrating since there were items that would be sold out within minutes of being listed on BestBuy, and I would have no chance of getting them since I would have to wait 15 minutes for them to allow me to purchase there. Overall I am very upset with this bank. The fact that I can't contact them about these issues without them getting upset and rude makes for some very poor customer service.

Called the local Reedsburg number only to be answered by a different location. Got transferred to a teller only to again have to listen to an automated message. Very frustrating when I have ONE SIMPLE QUESTION that I'd like answered. Maybe 3 stars is a little high, but I'm trying to remain positive......

No matter who it is or what questions I have or transactions I need to do they are always so happy to help me. I have only had great experiences here since being with WCCU for about 3 years(?) Now give or take but either way I'm very happy with the bank I use. :)

As a small business owner, and someone who has worked in bank management, I am thourougly dissappointed in the complete lack of customer service from this credit union. We (my significant other and my children) have several accounts with this credit union, including business accounts. Besides at the time of opening the accounts, we have not experienced any good customer service. At the least, I expect a friendly hello, how are you and a thank you, have a good day. What we typically get is a what do you want to do with this check and then maybe a there you go. I don't usually give reviews but after so many encounters with rude tellers, I just had to give one. Tellers are paid to run transactions but also for good customer service skills. Oh how I would love to teach a customer service course for this credit union. We are seriously considering closing all accounts and moving them to a credit union where customer service is a priority.
As an update...I just spoke with Debbie, at the Reedsburg branch, and she was excellent! She has amazing customer service skills and helped solve the issues we were having with address change and debit cards.

So many perks and the tellers were great! It was hassle free and they didn't act like car salesman either!! I opened a checking and savings to fit my needs in less than 15 mins and I was free to continue with my day! Also has remote deposit. Sometimes my husband isn't able to make it back home for me to deposit his check and now all he has to do is take a pic with his phone and it's available the same day and I can take care of our home! Best decision I've made

WCCU Credit Union is as reliable as their pens! I have had this bad boy on me since 2015 and as 2023 comes to a close, I still have it and it still works. Great staff and easy banking.

Insane down payments required to buy homes. 20% is out of reach for most people I know. Especially on a trailer? We’ve tried multiple times to go through them to buy a home and each time we’ve been screwed over by them changing rates over night. Never working with them again, and strongly recommend against them for loans
