Debit card broke while I was getting money from the atm. As I was trying to get the card out of the atm it came across that I took to long to grab my cash so the atm took the money back. They had called the atm people to fix the issue get my card and my money but since I was able to get my card out of the machine now they told me they can’t get me my money and I would have to dispute it. Everyone was beyond helpful except the manager, Shauna Lasiuta, she was extremely rude and had no customer service skills what so ever! She didn’t even put her phone down to talk to me or explain anything, she just was snippy rude and didn’t care. She told me that she’s not calling the atm company with a smirk on her face and phone in her ear and that I will have to dispute the charges to get my $500 dollars back. Now my moneys tied up for a minimum of 15 days as they can’t file the dispute until 15 days after the transaction and there’s nothing I can do. I would not recommend this credit union to anyone until management changes period.

Very slow drive though. Use it daily and has great people, but seems under staffed at times.

I walked into 4 local banks before Royal Credit Union. The moment I walked into RCU, I knew this would be the bank that would take care of me. I had just started a non profit organization and knew I needed a bank that I could trust and that would be patient with me..4 years later, I am so grateful for RCU. The best people and customer service I could ask for. So highly recommended!

I like most everything, shutting my card down because I was using it Minnesota troubles me. No one to contact on a weekend? And on hold now at work on Monday for over 5 min.? Who do I call? I might change my direct deposit back to Wells Fargo. Can't find a local branch from them in Wisc. But 24hr customer service

Very frustrating we have to go to this RCU temporarily while we don’t have access to our local one. Apparently it’s a real inconvenience to talk to your customers. We didn’t appreciate the rude tone. We’ve always received good service at other RCU’s. Not this one.

Yeah right. I applied for a loan a while back to fix some stuff on and in my house. I have fair to poor credit. But have a lot of collateral. Still turned down. The lady handling the call stated that sometimes they make an exception. So I said " well how about in my case"? A short 5 second pause ensues and then she stated " there's nothing we can do for you". And let's talk about overdraft. Yes. Some have been returned at my request, but it still out weighs the amount this bank has taken from me and probably a lot of other people that struggle financially right now. This banks slogan is just a front. There should be a disclaimer under that slogan that states " Only for the more fortunate will we help you".
Royal, you have not touched my life in a positive way, and to be honest have actually made it negative. Enough for me to take time to write this. I hope you revise your policies, process and procedures to actually be able to stand behind what you claim.
