We began a remodel project that evolved into a complete home renovation. The work is taking longer than planned and we didn't plan for increased costs due to inflation, limited supplies, labor increases, etc. Val Susor at Park City Credit Union in Minocqua worked tirelessly with us to obtain funding so we will be able to complete the renovation. Val worked to keep things moving including impositions we created. We can't thank Val enough for everything she's done for us!

Customer service is TERRIBLE. If you want someone who takes forever to return calls and emails, fails to provide information requested, doesn't know how to calculate your business income properly and speaks to you in a condescending manner, then by all means call Val Susor in mortgage lending to "help" you.
Val was extremely rude and would literally sigh on the phone when she actually answered (which was rare). It was clear she found communication annoying. We work with a lot of lenders in our profession and it's uncommon to find one so blatantly unprofessional. We confirmed with multiple other lenders that she did the calculations of our small business income wrong. A simple google search showed she did her work incorrectly but she must have been too embarrassed to fix her mistakes and instead was unprofessional to get rid of us. She also refused to let us speak to anyone else at the facility when we asked and could not answer any of our questions about how their decision came to be, seems suspicious. She wasted our valuable and limited time during an important time sensitive matter that should have been an exciting time for us. Underwriting should know their job better too, if our file ever made it that far.
Lastly, Val also clearly has a problem with Real Estate Agents, based on her rude comments to us about our line of work. Keep that in mind when referring people where to get their mortgage, real estate professionals. There is a reason this place has BAD reviews.

I recently had a name change. I brought in with me a new/old tribal ID (federally recognized tribe - states it right on the ID card!) New/old social security cards, new/old birth certificates and the original court order document. In which none of these were appropiate only a state issued drivers licenses. The associate from one of the offices (not a teller) spoke to the bank manager and their consensus was that my ID was not an appropriate form of identification because it wasn't a state issued ID. I proceeded to explain to her that it is a federal ID card but refused it stating they only use tribal ID'S for cashing checks. I asked her what the difference was and she stated policy. We live in a tribal community and a lot of tribal people bank there I know they accept the tribal ID. I left furious and so hurt. I didn't fight with her but only asked for clarification she stated she needed to contact her compliance manager. I left very upset it was obvious. She called me to tell me it was later confirmed my ID was acceptable. With no empathy for obviously upsetting a customer no apologies or remorse for such a rude exchange. I ask that your policy be updated or better training on staff to empathize with their community they serve.

Terrible experience with Val Susor and her underwriters for our loan for a second home purchase. We are experienced small business owners whose rental properties have been producing cash flow for several years. Rather than take the time to understand our business, they held our business loans against us as personal liabilities and ultimately denied our file and cost us valuable time and effort in our purchase. When I tried to have a conversation with them about it, they were rude and refused to discuss the details. I subsequently confirmed with multiple other lenders that our loan request was well within normal debt to income requirements following normal underwriting guidelines. Either the guidleines at Park City don't make any sense, or they don't know how to do their job. On top of that, communication was slow, condescending, and rude.

Decent indoor area, below average service.
Absolutely horrible drive thru in terms of speed. Took nearly a half hour to get through 3 cars while they only had a single lane open. I've never seen the third lane used once.
I'm not sure if this is a staffing issue, but something definitely needs to be addressed so that people can get their banking done fast and efficiently.
Barely any help from any of the employees, either. They would rather just be done with their shift instead of actually helping their customers.
Becoming more and more disappointed with their service as of lately.

I had a wonderful experience on several occasions. I recently purchased a condo and needed a loan for between purchasing the condo and closing on the home I owned. The Minocqua branch personal were extremely kind and helpful, as I had recently lost my husband and needed guidance. I also opened a new account and they were helpful. I have nothing but positive comments about their professionalism.

Thank you Valarie Susor ,mortgage specialist at park city credit union in Minocqua!!
From the day I walked in the office to be pre approved for a home loan until the closing day I felt I had the most knowledgeable person helping me with details of my home purchase.
She has gave me peace of mind during the transaction and saved me thousands of dollars.
Thank you again Val.

I've had nothing but excellent service each and every time I've interacted with any of the workers.
Because it's easy banking and good customer service I've recommended many of my friends to switch to park city.
