Through a few weeks of unreturned phonecalls by another branch and other companies less than enthusiastic about helping my wife and I roll over our 401k, we were able to be directed to Beth (Milwaukee street). She has been the single most helpful person I've dealt with in regards to banking. She is prompt, to the point, and very friendly. When we finally met in person she treated me with a big smile and made me feel very welcome. I'm very grateful she is our rep and hope to continue to work with her for many years. I've had an account here for the last 22 years without any luck of having a positive experience. Between opening my first savings account when I was 9 to the last 4 months that I've spent trying to replace a damaged debit card, there have been nothing but issues with every level of the organization. I haven't had these problems with any of my other banks and will be working to close my accounts. I highly recommend you shop for somewhere more professional and organized to store your finances.

We’ve been members of BHCCU for 15 years and we have enjoyed the experience. After leaving a nation wide big bank the customer service at Blackhawk is 1000% better than anything we’d previously experienced.

After having a very bad experience with a different credit union, Sydney at BHCCU on Milwaukee St. was able to help me. She answered all of my questions and really took care of me. Great customer service when refinancing my car!

Been with them for over 38 years. Only one little ops that was taken care of with one quick phone call. Very nice staff also! I don't think you could find better!

Too many roadblocks!
Etiquette training for younger employees would be a plus. They are out of touch with handling questions from clientele over 50. Bank Manager at East Milwaukee St branch was more interested in having all her staff in her office at the end of the day instead of coming out to talk with my elderly father.
Needless to say, account closed and money moved to Johnson Bank. Highly recommend Johnson Bank if you are unhappy at Blackhawk. Blackhawk is not as great as they once were. Or, as great as they think they are. Seems they’ve lost touch with older clientele. Just lost touch period.
