Worse bank I’ve ever met. Not only did I lose my $1600 iPhone by their building but the gentleman that had a buzz cut in the front had the audacity to call the police when I started searching for it using my Apple find me profile. I wasn’t even on his property and he called the police telling them that I was searching their property when they had no idea where it was. I got some news for them verified numerous times it was in their building. So I’m sorry if you have a guilty conscience because you stole my Important things but that doesn’t give you the right to use your authority to call the police. I would not use this bank for the life of me. If I can’t trust you to turn in my stolen things I can’t trust you with my money that’s it

Best institution to obtain an auto loan is your local credit union; in my case, that's BHCCU. Ryan was a pleasure to work with and, as a result, we've bought 2 vehicles thru BHCCU. Currently planning a third.
Keep up the great work.

entering new payees into business bill pay is incredibly difficult. verification codes by text 'in a few seconds' take 5-10 minutes. verification codes requested by phone take 3-4 phone calls before a code is given.

I went to BHCCU to open a debit/credit account. I was turned away because the lady in the office was busy. So I applied online. I made my deposit for my account. I still got denied. But they took my deposit. I want my money back!

I have been a member of Blackhawk for over 15 years and have always had nothing but exceptional service. They truly value their members and all the staff I have ever worked with have gone above and beyond.

This local credit union seems to be going backward, particularly with their fees. Constant, monthly $2 checking account fees pile up until you opt-in for paperless statements. Then, in late-2022 they began abusing their members with a $5 monthly punishment for an “inactive” savings account. Funniest of all, they chose to notify their customers of this change by sending a USPS paper letter. So, opt-out of paperless statements to not get punished, then warn customers of their fresh, new financial abuse by mailing them a sheet of paper. Let’s assume most members thought it was another life insurance mass mailing and tossed it into the garbage. In any case, it seems BCCU is making the mistake of so many other financial institutions… they’re losing younger members to superior services like Robinhood and Venmo, and to make up for those losses, they siphon more money from their existing members by way of ridiculous fees. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend BCCU to others. Two stars for a decent customer service experience where only a portion of the unnecessary fees were refunded, otherwise it would be one star.

I have been a member of this bank for well over 10+ years and they've proven to me time and time again that I cannot trust them. Didn't Americans learn with the great depression not to trust the banks especially those that prove to us that they cannot be trusted? This bank does not care about it's clients whatsoever! I have alot of money and a lock box with this bank but they don't value it whatsoever! I've tried to reach out to the branch manager whom seems to not have the time to speak to me and when I call the bank it connects to a call center. If I were you I'd never choose to bank at this bank as they cannot be trusted!
