Loan officer, Christina, from the Baraboo office is very poor at her job. Does not follow through or return phone calls.

I tryed to open a savings account there today the very snotty CS rep told me in no certain words that I did not live where my drivers license said I do. To start with she did not look at me she got my license from the one next to her that sent me to her after she ask me what county is hillsboro in and I answed her Vernon but I live in Richland. She tried to call several people but no answer 10 minutes go by I ask her whats the problem she said this is not your address, I said I been living there for 47 yrs now she repeted this is not your address. I ask her what she was smoking she waived it at me and repeted it again I stood up and said I am going to another place that not so rude with a loud voice she said by and I stormed off. Hope Greg Wagner reads this most the comments I read on hear is about lousy SC reps this took place at the Richland Center branch new building

Merry Lynn Riek is hands down the best person I have ever worked with in the banking industry. She has gone above and beyond her job role for us many times. We will always bank with her. Thank you Merry Lynn for all your help on the day to day. I hope you get a big raise!!!

Edit: it's been 6 months and have had zero issues at any other wccu branch. I have avoided the baraboo branch successfully! Life is good.
Original:
Out of ALL the WCCU branches I've only ever had issues with the Baraboo branch. My account hasn't gone negative in 7 years!! Wanted to put a hold on a check because of an old loan that I had no control over! (It was a car loan that my ex got in the divorce and he didn't pay it essentially hurting my credit) then tells me to go to a different branch. WOW. I get direct deposit and you can see all my transactions. AVOID THIS LOCATION.

By far the worst bank I have ever had. Not military friendly at all! would not work with me when it came to deployments or training events etc.. I made the smart move by switching to Navy Federal Credit Union and will never look back. They work hard to make YOU happy and can be reached 24/7 and can fix any issue. If you are able to qualify for an account there I strongly recommend you do it.

I am absolutely shocked at the way I was treated on the phone for asking about fraud on my account. When I called Michelle and asked about it, she wasn’t very transparent so I decided to close my accounts. When I told her this she hung up on me. I then proceeded to call back and ask her why and she had a very rude snotty attitude. Just go to summit credit union and save yourself from this monstrosity.

Im new to the Baraboo Branch and its the is the worst, there are two ladies there that are nasty, disrespectful and just walk away when there done helping you, drive up and in person. The drive up is longest waiting drive up I've ever encountered. I hear the other branches have better customer service but Im looking into banking somewhere else
