Annoyed. As a member of another credit union, I've been able to use ATMs and do shared branching services at BECU in the past through Shared Branching. I called and spoke to a BECU employee on the phone and they said that all locations would be able to provide notary public services. I confirmed with the agent that even as a member of another credit union this would not be a problem before driving 30 minutes to this branch. Arrived and was told that it was, in fact, not possible.
If they'd said this is a BECU member-only service on the phone, no big deal. But don't tell me one thing on the phone and then another when I arrive. Wasted 30 minutes of my time and gas driving over there, I'm now very disappointed they couldn't provide this simple 10-minute notary service that costs them nothing to a shared branching CU member.

We need another one. The customers are super needy. I can't imagine sitting with a teller all day.
They need 15 -20 minutes. I don't know why the tellers put up with the small talk. Blah blah customers need to get their business done and leave ..

They don’t process after hours deposits next day. Last week it took 3 days. We’ll see if yesterday’s deposit makes it tomorrow…
Update: my Tuesday after hours deposit didn’t even get processed by Thursday! Which now means that deposit will get processed in a different month and quarter. If this branch can’t even process deposits in 24 hrs, how can I trust they can do anything correctly? Will never use this location again.

The staff here are friendly, but the parking lot is pretty ridiculous with the new cookie store. Their ATM's only have 20's and 100's unlike other locations I've been to where you can select your bills.
Overall, they are friendly and is always clean, and is ideally located close to Costco where I visit frequently.

Only useful as a online bank. BECU is fine if you never need to handle cash or anything in-person. Almost all needs are directed to the ATM.

So tired for the website freezing up. Cant do what business I need to do. Half of the time it tells me I am entering the wrong pw when I know it is correct. Try later and works just fine. My time is just as valuable as anyone else and excess time spent trying to access my account is just not good. I will be closing my accounts with BECU and moving on.
I have been with them for quit a long time and just have not benefited me. To get a loan is almost impossible. Regardless of you credit. Just not worth it any longer.
Today has just made up my mind with not being able to go into my accounts.

I'm giving 2 stars because becu just isn't what it used to be! The wait times are insane and the service isn't too good anymore either. I went in last week to a different branch and 2 ladies were at there desk while people were piling up inside the doorway. The interest rates aren't anything special. You can get more at other banks..I always loved becu and thought they were great. And up until now wen I seen people saying negative stuff about the bank I didn't believe it. Now I've actually had banking needs and seem how bad the service really is. Also wen I call the employees are not friendly some are some have a very poor attitude. If I trust you with my life savings I expect a little more than wait an hour and a half to be seen and we will shut off your card with no warning at all and try and say I had it turned off. Or go in ask for a replacement card with same number to get a whole new number and have to change everything. I'm honestly over it if the bank was for the people by the people a ceo wouldn't be making 700k per year. This bank has turned to a for profit bank and losing loyal customers like myself. I had 2 people tell me they want a different bank as well just today well this is my rant my account will be closed tomorrow wen I head to Everett branch tomorrow and have them shut it down

This review is specifically for Tyler Helvey, one of their Member Consultants. I went into BECU a few weeks ago to iron out some issues with my accounts...this easily could have been a major headache, but Tyler was amazing! He is very knowledgeable, thorough, helpful, and personable. Though it took awhile to fix all the issues with my accounts (they were setup improperly at a different BECU branch by a consultant in training - mistakes happen!), he took the time to make sure EVERYTHING was taken care of properly, and he made it an overall positive experience. I'll be requesting him from now on for help with all my BECU services!
