Apparently a $600 check from a corporation is too risky to deposit into an account in good standing. Even when you have a regular direct deposit, that small check needs to be held without any notification or warning, thus causing two fees. I worked for a bank for five years and never would have held that check. Additionally, if someone steals your debit card information and uses it online fraudulently, a third party closes your card, but they don’t tell the credit union, and a new one doesn’t get sent out to you automatically. You have to go into the branch in-person and write a hand written explanation on some random form in order to resolve the fraud. And nobody tells you that you need to do this… You just figure it out after waiting and waiting for your new card to come. And when you ask about these issues, the employees have an attitude of “Not my problem, this is standard operating practice”. I thought the benefits of credit unions were that they are smaller, friendlier, and charged less fees, but this has NOT been my experience. I actually feel opposite. Again, I worked at a bank for five years. I’m also an experienced adult who has had multiple accounts with multiple financial institutions and I have NEVER been this exasperated by my bank/credit union. I will be closing my accounts and I will never do business with Tri CU again. This is my friendly warning to the public to also stay away.

I have known Trevor and most of the staff for a number of years as well as a business partnership with this credit union. Trevor has been a very professional partner over the years and I have watched over the years how he and the staff conduct business and handle customer service. It is probably the best service I have ever encountered! I am proud of our relationship and fully support their business to serve our community. Thank you Trevor.

I love this place! Has always been a great credit union for me. Love all the staff I have worked with but my favorite teller is Stephanie! She always has a smile on her face and always makes the experience quick and easy! Very knowledgeable and helpful with stuff I don't understand. I will remain a lifetime customer just because of her! Thank you TRI-CU!

My account was compromised more times than I can count on one hand. The fraudulent charges never got stopped or intercepted, so it was constant phone calls to reverse charges. The best time was a $3000 CBC charge that went thru, needed a dispute form filled to prove that is wasn't me, my acct and fraud. I had to call CBC to verify I wasn't a student as well. These charges never should have left my account.
Even if the account numbers are two digits off, said money shouldn't get pulled from the wrong account, with the wrong name/information. They need a better verification system.
When our account was compromised, one being for some Pasco church donation for example, I was told it was stopped, and for 2 more months, the transfer happened again and again. Minimum of 3 times I know of that that happened. Which is more than the "1"
charge that's being claimed below.
If only I could access my bank statements from when we opened our account, I could give an accurate amount of times it was infact, compromised. There were too many over the years.
Were they great about reversing charges? Yes! But was it irritating when I'd see charges that weren't ours and had to call? also yes.
There were some very nice employees there, but overall the problems had with this bank outweighed the niceness of some of their staff. I would never recommend banking here!

Good looking building, nice amount of space.
Horrible community relations. This business fights against its community daily. When the business is closed to the public . The employees wait in their cars blocking entrances preventing parents and children from having a safer drop off at no expense to a closed bank. From my experiences these are small symptoms of a bigger problem. I would recommend to keep your options open and support community leaders.
After the response I wanted reduce my star rating to a 1…This has changed after watching the levels this bank goes through to stop people from using this spot, it’s actually comical. I have never seen more than a handful of what appears to be employees … they all park similar, taking as much room as possible. Not sure what the intentions are, however It sure seems like they will go to ANY extent to keep the kids from being dropped off here… (which mind you, only takes 5 minutes to complete). Just bad form.

Gracie and Trevor were just exceptional throughout the entire Auto Loan process! They even worked with me and my work schedule to best accommodate their schedules and mine! I will definitely be going back to Tri-Cu for future loans! The process seemed somewhat complicated at first due to me being a first time car buyer but Gracie and Trevor explained everything to me perfectly and provided additional information! After they explained everything it was smooth sailing!!
Appreciate the 2 loan officers Gracie and Trevor! But also the front desk staff who were there aswell! They have exceptional customer service!! :)

Professional, timely, and caring group of people. Gracie was available for questions and answers during the entire loan process. Best interest rate, easy process, fast response, and great people, too! Can't go wrong with Tri-CU!!
