I have to update my review now that they are 802 credit union. This is no longer feeling like a community credit union, since the merger you can no longer call the branch directly you reach a call center. They were not timely with alerting people to fraud that was and still is happening. My trust in this bank is gone. We ended up having 3 or 4 cards have fraudulent charges on them, one the second it was activated. We have decided to switch banks because we don’t trust that our money is safe and that we will be informed of issues in a timely manner. We also have been having issues with payments going through on the day they should be and multiple transfers happening from checking to savings for no reason. RVCU was great 802CU just is not the same.

This banking institution really is subpar now that they are 802. What a shame. This credit union was a great place to be a customer, now I wouldn't send my worst enemy here.

I have banked here for many years and even worked here as a teller. They have high staff turnover .... different reasons for each which is bothersome (pay could be better). But it is a so much better than commercial banking. They will work with you with loans - both attaining and paying. They offer free credit counseling (at least did 10 yrs ago). And have a relaxing atmosphere in all branches. Hey, interest rates are lower than commercial banks.

I am basing this review off of their loans section, we bought a car through a bad dealer didn't own it a year and it died. We worked with Ryan to get into a safe car that runs really well. She went above and beyond to help us in this horrible situation!

Good bank. They know and remember you. However, if you use a debit card from there, you can't even download any apps, or update any apps even if it's free if your card is connected to your phone. If my card is below $5 it's basically useless cause it can't buy anything even if it is less than $5. It might just be my problem though.

The new ceo and all most all upper management are from Macu. They dont make any decisions for the best of any other branches but their own offices. All of the people who can make weather calls can work from home and do not prioritize the teller safety. The largest storm of the year, with multiple branches closed with no power, heat, or water and all the tellers inside, they wont close, till hours after.
