DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Terrible customer service and overall experience working with the Rutherford team, specifically file processor Candace. She literally hung up on my wife when she called to politely ask questions as to why this had happened and how we can fix things going forward. They dropped the ball multiple times: first time pushed back our closing by several days because they hadn’t ordered the necessary documents to close, then when they didnt schedule our homeowners insurance just prior to closing, which resulted in a lapse in coverage. Not worth the hassle they cause you on the long run I promise!

My Presidential loan was bought out by Caliber a few months ago and I have had nothing but issues since using them. The website is unnecessarily complicated to navigate and every time I go to make a payment, it won't load the payment screen and I end up having to call. The very first time I paid my mortgage through them, it said "error processing" when I pressed "submit payment." I called and was listening to the main menu screen when something in my gut prompted me to check my bank acct. To my dismay, my payment was posted as pending to my account, so I hung up the phone. A few weeks later a debt collector CALLS ME AT MY OFFICE JOB to tell me I didn't pay my mortgage and it will be rolled over to collection. I told them the situation and they apologized stating since it was my first time initiating a payment through Caliber, they did not yet have my loan info in their system (EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THE DAY THE PAYMENT WAS DUE AND I WAS ABLE TO SEE MY LOAN INFO ON MY ACCOUNT SO IDK WHAT KIND OF EXCUSE THAT IS), but ever since then I've only been able to submit payments electronically 1 time without experiencing any technical difficulties... BEWARE and pay extra attention to ensure your mortgage clears through your bank. I shouldn't have to spend 30+ mins fighting with a website and listening to their loooooong automated menu when you call to make a payment every month. Wish they would have never switched me over to Caliber.

CJ and Dawn have been amazing. They have answered every question as a first time homebuyer and gone out of their way to ensure I am aware of each step. I hear horror stories when house buying mine has been a dream!!!!
