I had an extremely pleasant visit today. Everyone was very friendly and eager to assist me with my transaction. The loan manager greeted me with a smile and gracefully guided me through the purchase of my vehicle. She was very knowledgeable and patiently worked with me to assure I acquired the terms that met my criteria. I will definitely recommend others to Beacon Credit Union.

Beacon is overall excellent. I have used them for about 16 years. The tellers are excellent (5 *). In the big picture, every one is nice and will help you if they can However, they are short handed and sometimes managers are not very accessible even if you go to the 'bank.' This is because they are very busy and need more workers. Both the manager and assistant manager are very helpful if you can talk to them at a good time. Just be patient and they will help you. They are better than the local bank from my experience. They also have good CD rates at this time.

I just got an account at one of the Danville locations and an auto loan not too long after, with the help of my godfather co-signing. The teller, Chelsey, is an amazing worker at Beacon. She’s an incredible helper, she’s knowledgeable, she’s cheery—I could literally go on because her service is so amazing! I couldn’t wish for a better teller than Chelsey, or a better credit union than Beacon!

Went by to open a CD with Tracy at the Timberlake branch & it was a pleasant & efficient experience. Tracy was very nice & personable & took no time to complete my transaction! Even took care of getting me some cash from my account instead of having me go back thru the teller line! Been dealing with Beacon for over 25 years and always have great service! Thank you!

Michelle at beacon credit union was amazing. She went over and explained everything in detail and went through and opened up my account for the app.Higly recommend going here, the process was quick and easy.

The people that work there are friendly but I’m so frustrated with how this bank works. They mailed me a new card and said to expect it in two weeks. Nice - except they deactivated my current card. So I have no way to buy gas, deal with an emergency, get groceries, or pay my online bills for two weeks. I called and they said “sorry” but said they couldn’t help me.

I visited the Logan’s lane location to pay a bill as Beacon recently revoked my ability to pay online. I have never incurred a late fee or skipped a payment on my account. I simply asked if there was any way I could avoid a transaction fee being applied to my account for when I pay in person as I never had a transaction fee before when I paid online. The lady in the office became frustrated with me and told me there was absolutely nothing she could do. Not the type of people I’d trust to handle my money.

Beacon is friendly, quick and easy to deal with. I have never had a bad experience in the 15 plus years I have dealt with them. I have purchased several vehicles using them an never an issue. I call to get a loan for a vehicle and usually with in an hour or two have approval and have the money as soon as I can pick it up. They are the best.
