In the process of moving to Lexington and will always choose to deal with a local bank. Stopped in and worked with Jene and Lacey to open an account and transfer money from an out of state bank. They were absolutely fantastic and a real pleasure to work with. Cannot recommend this bank and these people enough.

I love Cornerstone Bank in Virginia. The staff is friendly, they have treats for my dogs, I can get papers notarized for free, and they always have time to say hello and see how you are doing. It is a clean and efficient operation and I have not one single complaint about any of the services I have received.

In way over their heads. Can handle the most basic of transactions, but their apparent lack of familiarity with anything even slightly more complicated makes them a risky choice. Mostly nice folks but just not up to date with modern banking standards and services. When I complained about hiccups in their mobile banking app, their top manager told me that I was lying. They can't urge us to patronize local businesses unless they can give competitive service.

Bridget and Sarah make things happen. I am so impressed. My wife and I put our trust in them and it was a very good decision. Thank you!

I set up 2 accounts there a number of years ago, meaning to have some money put aside that I wouldn't touch. After a few years, they considered the accounts dormant, and began taking $10/month. This would have gone on until they were empty if I hadn't decided to check in on the account. With such a high fee, the costs add up quite quickly, which would make one wonder why they had such a relatively high fee... it could have been any amount to be considered a "transaction." While they did refund some of the fees, one would expect a small-town community bank to be less predatory in their fees. Amazing to loose money simply by putting money in the bank. Read the fine print, and don't expect a small-town bank to be a better kind of bank.
