Was referred to this bank by a company that was doing some financial work for us. I deal with 4 other banks and about 12 different bank accounts with those banks. I do all online banking with those banks, two of which are credit unions. I am used to all types of banking apps and such. I will say that Titan bank has the most awkward banking apps in the country. Why do you have 2 apps? One for only mobile deposits and the other for all other banking. This makes no sense. They send all emails through encryption. Which I appreciate but why do you have to have a separate password for that too and then you get another email to activate that password. The steps and hoops you have to go through to set up an account and do business with is extremely difficult to say the least. Then I make an initial deposit and it does not show up on the bank account side as pending or anything. I get an email but it is asking for another password. UGH!!! So I call today. Mallory was nice and cordial. I know she works there and cannot say why they do things they do but it is very frustrating. They are holding a check I deposited for 7 business days. It is coming from a well known institution. I know banks hold checks and then use the money for interest and trading at night. Why can you make a cc purchase and the charge shows up right away but they get to hold your checks for 7 business days? Highway robbery.
Think very hard about getting an account at this bank. I followed a recommendation but should of went locally instead. My mistake.
Very unhappy with this experience.

Who receives a phone call from the President of a bank at 8 pm on a Wednesday night. I do. I am no one special, I don't even live in Texas, but my company and our ability to receive a second PPP loan matter to Jonathan Morris. I am so thankful for his commitment to our small business and the success of our operations. He has truly shown that being the President of a bank is more than a fancy office or executive position to him. It is personal. He doesn't champion the big companies that can bring large deposit accounts to his bank. He is instead working hard to ensure that all companies have an opportunity to succeed - big or small. If I lived in Texas, I'm confident I would handle all my banking needs with Titan Bank. I know this type of customer service is rare.

So far this company has provided a terrible service which im hoping i can still be reached atleast on this portal. My issue is having work done to my home and i currently have a check Which my insurance already provided, unfortunatly check had my name and TiTans bank name and before i could cash out i had to have TiTans bank sign check aswell. Despite me personaly showing un to get Titan to sign my check to be already to cash out they refused various times to sign or stamp to complete. I need someone to explain why a simple task i have done before now is so difficult. This whole bank Journey has been terrible do not recomend not sure if it is because im Brown, but is also really uncofortable on how they treat me.

We applied for a PPP loan thru Titan Bank online. Submitted all the required documents. We were approved for the loan and received the necessary documents thru docusign. We signed the and returned the documents. We then received a call to review some questions regarding our entity name not matching on all documents. We changed the name of our business with the state and were waiting, at the direction of our CPA, to change the name with the IRS at the time of our 2020 tax filing.
We received 2 phone calls. Friday evening, and Monday morning to review the information and provide an explanation as to why our entity name was different on some of our documents. As small business owners we are busy and doing our best to navigate our business thru uncharted waters.
We received a phone call from Jonathan Morris the CEO on Monday evening. I cannot begin to say how completely unprofessional he was. He threated to report us to the FBI for being criminals. His tone was threatening and abusive. I have neve been spoken to by anyone this way. His accusations were completely unfounded and hurtful.
I spoke to one of the people in the commercial lending department. He said... yeah "He can be Intense". Intense? Sounds like this is not an isolated incident. Sounds like he has people around him covering for his unprofessional behaviors, and putting up with his abuse.
There is nothing that justifies this way of being with people. Something I have learned in working with people is that 'the way we do one thing can show us how we do everything'. I am sure he is at the helm of this bank in this way everywhere.

1st time dealing with this particular branch over the phone concerning the death of my Dad's account was a horrible experience. A manager named "Shalynn" was rude and very unprofessional, simply because she was unknowlegable about what I needed. I asked to speak to someone else, she refused and hung up on me. I called back and she hung up again. Because I really needed an answer I tried again. Got transferred to her and she hung up again. Then I called a last time, got transferred to a Branch V.P., she answered my question and took my complaint. No I won't be doing any other business there until their customer service comes up to standards.

Poor customer service! The Bank bought the note from another Bank. Titan Bank- wanted to pay our property tax and building insurance and then proceed to bill us for it. We have been taking care of the above items for many years before the note was bought from Titan Bank. They kept demanding payments without checking the contract!! And when I mail out the payment before due date, what mail takes a week and a half within California to receive? The stamp on the mail envelope is the marking of when it was mailed and it was mailed before the due date not when they open the envelope and they start processing the check! There are so many departments who to contact and they don’t give you a name or department to contact. Yet the front desk person was very cryptic on who to contact and what department to talk to even when I have given him my name and account number as a customer! If I refinance I would never go with this company! BEWARE!!

We have been customers with Titan Bank for 23 years with very good customer service. On March 13, 2023 they launched their new computer online banking system. We are so frustrated with this site. The new system is hard to navigate and understand.
