DO NOT use this bank. My husbands wallet got stolen and the person used our cards from 3 different banks. With the other 2 banks, we got our money back immediately. With happy, I just got a call today, 3 months later that they have our money and it’s $20 less than we had in there before and they can’t explain to me why that fee was taken out. Over these 3 months, my husband has been called saying our account is overdrawn multiple times when they should have it in their records that the card was stolen and we disputed it and were waiting on them to fix it. They now closed our account without letting us know and shorted us money. This happened a week before the switch and they also told us they can’t see all of our records before the switch happened. It has been an absolute nightmare.

Since the new owners, when I call in you can't get anyone on the phone. A voice prompt goes on and on about high call volume. A 30 minute wait for a local bank is too long, especially when you have a major banking issue.

Ok, so I have to call ComData and order CHECKS, not money orders, but CHECKS. EFS clearly says check on it in multiple places. If the local bank in my small hometown of Farwell Tx accepts both as MOBILE DEPOSIT CHECKS, and the much larger happy state Bank that's been bought out and isn't even a local bank anymore is going to offer INCONVENIENT mobile deposit and tell me my CHECKS are considered to be a money order, even though I ordered CHECKS for my pilot car company, the truck driver registers my CHECK, and my partner I work with mobile deposits his CHECK and and it is deposited (through another, better bank), even after I've had multiple COMDATA CHECKS approved through mobile deposit, the rules are "magically" changed over night, I believe it's time for a new bank account elsewhere. I WORKED for my money and was paid with a CHECK, not a money order. The services at happy state Bank have been lack luster, but they are worse now that they've sold out to a bigger bank!

Centennial Bank took the small town hometown feeling out of happy state bank. My wife and I had backed here 10 years at least. No more early deposits, oh no, the run in time stamps now. Won't allow me to direct deposit my checks, solely because the person accepting mobile deposits were too lazy to call on my check and verify the authorization number. My wife no longer works in hereford, nor has to use this bank, which we were a member of before her business had started using this bank. The ladies here are the worst. Little girls with rude attitudes. Most people won't just up and switch banks, it's a lot of hassle. But we did and have no regrets. We left our 2 cents in the bank account for you Centennial Bank, you won't get anything else from us! Thanks for the rudeness and terrible customer service.
