Where to start!!?? Had an auto loan with ETPCU. Filed for a deferment during a move to help with moving costs. That was granted but they somehow lost track of the filing. Spent several months a payment behind. Never notified me but didn't hesitate to notify the credit bureaus. Tried to trade my car in one time. Spent a month in the new car after trade in. Bank kept calling asking for payment. I sent them links to the car sale listing at a major dealership in Houston. Had to eventually go pick the car back up and catch up on payments again because they dropped the ball there. Months later car was stolen. I was current on all of my payments. Only late payments were caused by the lack of competence from themselves. That apparently is considered in determining how much gap insurance covers after insurance settlement so im stuck paying out of pocket a lump sum that gap didn't cover. Oh BTW, ETPCU advertises that gap covers all of the difference after insurance payoff.
This bank is an absolute disaster of a company. They will never have our business again.

Opened a savings account with them 2-3 years ago and was told the account would NEVER incur any charges or fees. Beginning of year I began being charged fees and when I got an opportunity to go into the branch to figure everything out, the charges were irreversible. Withdrew money, closed account, and took it to my main bank.

Called and spoke to managers voicemail. Left messages twice. No response. Actually spoke with her and she wouldn't let me finish a sentance. Mysteriously disconnected. No callback. And no, I wasn't rude.

After the sterling service I have received, I won't go anywhere else to handle my money. The staff are all very friendly, and I don't feel like I'm just another customer. All the interactions I've had there are positive, and the greeting I receive is genuine and not forced. I've never met a grumpy cashier once, even when I waltz in a minute before closing.

I will do business nowhere else. I love that I am treated as a person and not a person of color. If I ever needed funding for school a car they were the people I went to. Best rates, Best service nuff said!! I actually worked for them one time and they practice what they preach. You’re a member not a customer and you will be treated as such! Thank you East Texas Professional C.U. for setting the standard of professionalism in banking to an all time high!!!
