I went this morning to get a document notarized... I was disappointed to learn their policy about not being able to notarize something for someone unless that someone is a member of their bank. I needed a proof of residency form notarized for pre-kindergarden registration and I had a utility bill, Driver's license, insurance card, my check book, and 3 other pieces of mail, ALL of which listed my one and only address, but they said the way they would need to verify my address is by looking me up in their system...but I am not a member, so I am not in their system. And then, instead of offering to help me become a member (because I was willing to open an account, and even mentioned that) the girl I talked to seemed like she couldn't wait to get me out if there... I went to City Hall and the notary there was so kind and even said "I'm a notary of the public, I'm happy to help you out with this". At least someone was nice and accommodating, unlike the girls at this bank.

I'm always greeted with a smile, no matter the time of day. The level of customer service is phenomenal. I became a customer because we use them for our company and I'm glad I did. I was tired of calling an 800 number to talk to strangers with questions about my account. South Star Franklin treats their customers like PEOPLE, not like a number. That's important to me-especially when dealing with my hard earned money! I feel like I matter to these people, both on a personal and professional level. I'm delighted with their services and their personalities!

We’ve banked here for years and the customer service has always been fantastic! We appreciate that, even though it is a small bank, they provide modern conveniences, like mobile banking. It would be nice to be able to access statements from the mobile app. Thanks for all you do…keep up the good work!
