Was great when they were Northstar, now that IB has taken them over they are horrible! Do your banking anywhere but with IB... They are another corporate, could care less about the customer, style bank... Do not have enough room to write the horrors we have experienced in the few months since the changeover. UPDATE, after they made us drive there to sign a stop payment, they ended up paying the check anyway and told us that they made a mistake but can't reverse the check. Not only the worst bank I've dealt with, probably the worst business experience, period, in years.

I'm a 64 year old caucasian man and this bank is the worst bank I have ever used in my entire life. They are rude, arrogant, unfriendly and treat you like they are doing you a service holding your money. You will be charged for ANY and ALL services! WARNING, DO NOT USE!

I had to get my business debit card activated and the online system wasn’t working. They worked tirelessly and had to make multiple calls to get it done for me even though they were busy as well. Great customer service and friendly staff.

They are very thorough. We have been frustrated at times with their procedures but realize they are trying to protect us against fraud. It sometimes takes a phone call to clear up, but they always do their best.

Do yourself a favor and do not bank here! When it was Northstar if was great, now that Independant Bank has taken over it simply sucks! Poor attitudes and costly errors!
