Worked with this bank through a mutual customer and the whole process was a nightmare. Customer had all documentation needed for a auto loan and rather than get all the info they needed up front, they kept coming up with something new they needed every two days for about a week and a half rather than get all the info up front. When I called to ask for an update on the loan the staff was very rude and abrasive. If you are looking for a quick and pleasant loan process I would not recommend doing your business here.

I am a member and recently applied for a home equity loan which was a longer process than i expected but overall Jackie and Kristin were great and took care of everything that needed to be done. Kristen went above and beyond when it came time to get me the check during a snow storm. I did not expect her to have my paperwork ready due to this storm, however she was prepared and already had my paperwork with her and she completed it remotely and got it processed earlier than expected. Thank you Kristen and look forward to future dealings!

I'm a member of Wyrope Williamsport FCU, and have been for a good many years but am think it is time to look for another FCU.
I need a affidavit notarized they wouldn't do cause they did see me perform the service. The also wouldn't do it cause their a financial institution. I have a account with a bank in Newberry that will do, no charge. I assisted my mother with her handy cap card, totally different bank than mine, they notarized her papers. A notary is to witness your signature.
I went through the drive through the teller asked if she could help me. I replied that I'm making a deposit. The drawer had not opened. I signed my check, pulled from my billfold my bank card, wrote on a piece of paper change I would like back. The teller asked for my account number. I don't like audibly give my account number out so all the world to hear. The drawer still has not opened. I asked the teller if I needed to come inside. The drawer opened. Deposit was made I got my cash I needed and left.
I'm think I need to find another FCU.

I WOULD NOT SUGGEST OPENING AN ACCOUNT HERE. Some tellers are nice while others are very rude and make you feel like you are nothing. I had a problem and instead of the head of the credit union taking me and my brother in law into her and closing the door, she proceeded to yell at us and humiliated us front of all the tellers and office staff. Very unprofessional. Especially being the CEO of this credit Union. In their words "it's all on tape."

I've been banking with Wyrope Credit Union for over 20 years. I've always felt welcomed and respected. The employees are awesome and always go above and beyond! Wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Apparently they think I'm stupid based off of them thinking a person would keep a PIN code written down and kept in a wallet. Just so when someone breaks into their car and steals their wallet has ease of use to their money. Even though the person who was robbed never had it written down in the first place, nor knows said own PIN do to always using credit. But hey what would I know I'm just a dumb guy who uses their services. Jackie is nice tho about the only good one there.

My recent experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. I would strongly advise against using their services due to the numerous issues I encountered during my dealings with them.
First and foremost, their customer service was abysmal. Whenever I reached out for assistance, I was met with long wait times and unhelpful representatives. It seemed like they had no interest in resolving my concerns or providing me with the support I needed. Their lack of responsiveness and disregard for customer satisfaction was truly disheartening.
Moreover, their policies and procedures were convoluted and unnecessarily complicated. Simple tasks that should have been straightforward turned into long, drawn-out processes filled with paperwork and red tape. It was as if they wanted to make everything as difficult as possible, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
Additionally, I encountered several instances of hidden fees and unexpected charges. The lack of transparency was infuriating, and it made me question their integrity and honesty as a financial institution. I strongly believe that a credit union should prioritize the well-being of its members, but my experience with [Credit Union Name] showed a blatant disregard for this principle.
Overall, my time was marked by frustration, poor customer service, complicated procedures, and hidden fees. I would strongly advise anyone considering using their services to think twice and explore alternative options. There are plenty of other credit unions that value their customers and prioritize their needs above all else.

We have been members for a long time. I see where people give negative comments about the credit union. They have like most businesses rules to follow, and times that may not seem convenient to you, I for one am very glad that Wyrope is looking out for me one of its members! We live 2 hours away but we do not want to change banks , Kristen has helped us through a few things with respect and courtesy and Jackie is great also! So I want to say Thank you Wyrope for looking out for you members!!
