I purchased a motorcycle through a local dealer. The financing was set up through this credit union. I just made my first payment online and was charged a ten dollar "convenience" fee...aka an External Account Transaction fee. I've had quite a few auto and bike loans through many different banks and I've never heard of something quite creative as this. I always thought credit unions were against outrageous fees like this. Greed at it's finest.

Customer service is terrible at this bank. Especially Holly. How she is in a customer service position is a mystery. If you have electronic payments sent to your account they post them whenever they want. No set system. And when you have an issue they all have an attitude problem and make everything the customers fault

Went to the Mulberry Street branch with my son so he could deposit money using the ATM machine. Took the card and the money then wouldn’t recognize his pin. While my son ran into the bank to get help I called the bank. I did not want to leave the ATM as it gave me a receipt showing $0 and still had the card and money. He came out alone after 15 minutes and was told its a known problem and he wont get his card or money til Wednesday. Meanwhile no one was answering. I pushed cancel and the ATM gave the card and money back. I stayed on hold while driving to Olyphant. My son had an appointment so I couldnt go into the bank. After dropping my son off I took his money to Olyphant branch where I was told by a teller that they can’t put a sign on the atm warning anyone because it only happens randomly and I should feel lucky I got the card and cash back. What is going on with NET? I was on hold for nearly 20 minutes before hanging up. A year ago I applied for a loan and wasnt notified for 5 weeks on the decision! I chose NET years ago because of their service but it has drastically changed.
Thank you for responding. I understand there are other ways to deposit. At that moment in time the ATM would have been the quickest. If you are already are aware of the problem put a notice on the machine so others aren’t inconvenienced.

Could not be happier with my decision to switch to this bank! I went in today to sign up for a checking and savings account. All of my past experiences with this were to walk in, hand over money and leave. The women who helped me today, Jessica, was friendly, intelligent but mostly kind! She didn’t rush me and she thoroughly reviewed my credit report with me, answering all my questions with compassion. She asked me what my goals were and even though I had never met her before I left there feeling like she she actually cared to see me reach them. Customer service at its finest. If you are looking for more than a place to hold your money, I highly recommend Jessica at NET!

Would really like to be able to deposit cash on Sunday nights, through atm. I took funds from one account at NET. Got charged a fee, so the machine said. Then it would only take checks for deposit. So now I'm stuck with a fee too much cash and a deposit that absolutely needed to be made because I was just to busy early in the week. Also this happens often on Sunday nights. No issues other wise. Photo checking would be sweet! Thanks

The credit union is so bad . Went to deposit money into my account and asked for change back and the lady there told me that she can’t give me change. I thought that’s what credit unions do is give you money in exchange for your check. Also this meeting me at the door makes me feel like I stupid and can’t find my way to the counter . They say it’s to make it more personal, why fix what isn’t broke. For years I would walk in and they would all know my name , those days are gone

I have read a lot of these comments, And I cannot say I have had a bad experience once. A majority of the one stars are from people who have been financially irresponsible.
Every time I have applied either for a loan or credit card, I have been given proper advice before making that decision. I am extremely thankful for all of the people whether the tellers or the credit department people have spoken with.
