Zero stars, I tried to transfer some money from my Key account to Robinhood ( a reputable stock broker) .Key didn't recognize the broker and flagged my account, Robinhood froze my account b.c of the transaction denial..that was 8 months ago and I'm still jumping through hoops to get access to my money. This is the least painful issue with Key. I closed my account b.c they overcharged me 600$ in late fees b.c of their mistake now I have letters from collections arriving weekly. Horrible bank.

I am rating this bank "0" stars (I was forced to choose one star). This bank is not interested in their customers, they are interested in numbers. I was a member of the banks prior to Key Bank since 1991. This was NOT impressive to anyone including the manager. I shared with him that my husband I were thinking of leaving, he offered to send a gift card in the mail to us. That was 2 months ago, we never saw a gift card from this bank. In the summer, we were interested in a loan. We shopped around for better rates. Diamond Credit Union offered a better interest rate. The woman that was our loan officer at Key Bank almost hung up on me after I told her I was going with a loan at another bank. I am not out to make friends at the bank, I am out to save money. I would think they would be very happy that I found a better rate, NOT offended--that is part of the job. I HIGHLY NOT recommending this bank because in about 2 years it will be sold to another bank, yet again!

I'm shopping around for a new bank as I write this. Since Key took over it's been nothing but problems. I was a member of First Niagara before Key, Harleysville before that, and Security before that... I promise you that no one at Key cares how long you've been here. What's more surprising to me is that I have a "Privilege Select" account for members with very high balances, and they STILL DON'T CARE about retaining my business. It's honestly almost as if the idiot in charge dares you to take your business elsewhere. Well, you've got it buddy; I'm out.
Update: I emailed the bank at the address provided in the "response from the owner" below. The branch manager replied personally and did absolutely nothing to correct their mistakes. On top of this, he lied to me directly about the events that transpired. Under no circumstances should you use this bank, for anything.

Zero stars. They have taken our paychecks back out even though they didnt bounce (they wouldn’t even give us a reason why they charged back the money). Then on top of that they charge us a service fee because we had to redeposit it.... shady and no good. They can’t answer questions, it’s hard to get ahold of someone on the phone, and they don’t care about their customers. Switching immediately.

horrible bank for business. no one can tell you why your not approved for a simple small business credit card. I have a perfect credit score. this bank is just a pain to deal with

My husband has had this bank for years, and must have had fraudulent activity on his account over 5 times. They do nothing to protect this. Then they either #1... continue to let charges come out and rack up fees or #2, freeze your account with no warning so you have no way of accessing your money. My husband literally only uses his card to pay bills or withdraw money, doesn't do online shopping or anything that could compromise his account. There is no reason why his account should be hacked so many times and then he has to wait without any access to his monies until they " figure it out".
