I have had dollar bank for along time....the bank isn't really convenient for me anymore, but I am happy enough with them to go out of my way to use them. the Murrysville branch is always friendly when I go, service is quick and I have no complaints with them. The online app needs work, but I don't use it enough to be to upset with it. I do agree, that with technology where it is, you should be able to avoid NSF FEES by notifying the customer that they are over drafted via email quickly, I usually don't know for at least a day .

Absolutely horrible bank. The other reviews are correct. The loans are predatory, the rates are awful, and everything is just bad. It takes up to a week to clear a simple check, yes overdrafts are instantly applied and outrageously expensive (and recurring if you don't get the email they send a day later), the app doesn't really work.
When I canceled my account, I was just told that I was wrong and oh well. Clearly I'm not the only one with the amount of problems that I've had with this bank. Nevertheless they arent interested in fixing the issues, in spite of the generic "call us" response on all of their complaints.
Just stay far away and you'll never know why you'd want to thank me.

Cruddy bank full of shark loan agents and terrible rates. Their app works and looks like it's from 2001 - and is an unreliable way of making payments even to Dollar Bank.

The staff at the Murrysville branch are wonderful. Very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful.
The only downside to banking with Dollar Bank is the online banking which is seriously lacking. I had planned to move all my accounts to Dollar when we refinanced our mortgage with them, but decided not to after dealing with the limitations of their website/app.
