This sinister company did not credit payments correctly. Despite calling them, and each time the csr telling me it has been corrected, this is not the case. They have FAILED to provide me the corrected documentation and I will be filing a formal complaint with Consumers Finance Protection Bureau.

Some of my student debt was transferred years ago to these shady creeps from Sallie Mae (without giving me any choice). Today I called about a mysterious new statement claiming there are “unpaid fees” on my account. As it turns out, these alleged fees appeared on my account in 2019-20 (so why send me a statement about them in 2022?!?!) and I don’t even have to pay these fees now because they’ve already been capitalized! And whom did I learn this from? A woman on the phone in the Philippines who didn’t even understand my question. Navient, are you incompetent, corrupt, or both?! Buzz off!!

High interest rates and they take advantage of young people with capitalizing on loans and charging fees that don't match up. Even during a global pandemic it was still charges fees. Now they are refusing to correct the ONLY bad mark on my credit report which is by them.
I think our government says it best: "Navient spent over a decade boosting its profits by cheating students and taxpayers and evading accountability, and after years of pushing the Department of Education to end this cycle of corruption, I'm glad that Navient will finally be held accountable for their predatory behavior," said Senator Warren

STUDENTS BEWARE- DO NOT USE THIS LENDING COMPANY! I've been paying for 8 YEARS and not seen hardly $100 come off my balance. Their interest rates are through the roof making it nearly impossible to put money towards principle. They are unwilling to allow for lowered payments even if you don't make enough money to pay your rent. I'm disgusted this place is even legal and regret every day ever signing up for this.
