Shady business practices. I genuinely feel like Belco is going out of their way to add stress to my life. I refinanced my vehicle with Belco in January because they offered a great rate. I was told by Ayla Negron and David Arnold that everything was taken care of and they gave me my first payment date. I started making payments to Belco only to continue to receive calls from the previous lienholder. I called said lienholder in February and was informed that a payoff check was never received. So I called Belco and was assured it would be looked into. March comes around, same thing. Previous lienholder still hasn’t received a check, Belco is “looking into it” and still taking my money. About a week ago, I went to a dealership to run financing on a new vehicle, and couldn’t do that because it was showing that I had two loans out on my car, and now the previous lienholder claims that I’m months behind in payments, which of course affects my credit. I called David Arnold who was somewhat helpful and assured me it’d be, again, “looked into”. They never sent the check. I demanded that a new check would be sent out as this was extremely damaging to my credit and makes it impossible for me to try and purchase a new vehicle. I was told on Friday by Brittany that the check would be sent out on Monday via overnight shipping. In typical Belco fashion, it wasn’t sent out on Monday. It was shifted to Tuesday. It’s now Thursday morning and I just got off the phone with my previous lienholder and guess what! No check. They continued to take my money for a car that they didn’t even own, causing me to miss payments to the original lienholder, which impacts my credit. This is extremely unethical and unprofessional. I’m only 19 years old, so I don’t know if they’re doing this because I’m young but it feels like a deliberate attack against me. I cannot recommend working with Belco for any reason unless you want everything to go wrong along the way. It’s been three months, fix this.

I love my credit unions. (I belong to 2) I will NEVER use a bank again and my ex was a branch manager for many years. They have always bent over backward to help me and I have nothing but praise for them

I love Belco! Everyone is so friendly, and they genuinely care for you and your money. As its a credit union there are rules on who can put money in there, but I'd say the majority are able to. Plus CU's give a better rate of return and are sometimes easier to get a loan through. They have a really great kids saving program too.

This is the worst bank there is !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Every time I tried to use my debit card on line to Xmas shop, it declined.
Their fraud prevention service literally makes it impossible to sp end your own money.
I've had them freeze my card 8 times and had to go into the branch office which is hardly ever open to get a new card!!
I tried to order pizza delivery on the weekend and that also declined.After going into the branch office, they said their system goes
down any random hrs. over each weekend
For updating so you never can be sure if your purchase will decline on the weekends.
They DO NOT EVEN HAVE AN ONLINE APP.
AND NO 24HR CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!
And charge you just to find out recent transactions and limit your transfers to only a few times per month !!!
I went to a new bank PNC, and am quite happy now.

The ABM here (mentioning him by his position b/c I don’t want to butcher his name) is extremely helpful. He was able to keep calm and stayed professional even when I didn’t deserve it. I was pretty feisty the other day over something that he had no control over. I definitely owe him an apology and a thank you b/c regardless of how I treated him, he took it upon himself to resolve our issues. Thank you!
