Communities of the West Valley. I'm a small business owner banking with First Federal Savings & Loan. Monday morning I noticed SEVERAL pending charges for $199.99, originating out of the country, seeming to be an online purchase that of course i hadn't made. I immediately notified my bank First Federal prior to the charges clearing. I was advised they could not stop the fraud activity on my account. I requested to shut the account down, they advised they could not with pending charges, mind you fraud charges. Three days later the bank has allow numerous charges to clear putting the account in the negative with fraud charges in the same amount over and over. I am a small business, in a small town, the funds taken are detrimental to my business and serving my community. First Federal Savings & Loan advised me IF they can recover the funds IT COULD TAKE UP TO 5 MONTHS, even though I notified them at pending status. The lack of security, no chip in the cards, apparently no monitoring in the fraud department, I urge our community to ask questions about how secure our funds are. Over the last three days in speaking with the bank from clerk to top branch managers, fraud department, online department, I still haven't received any answer other than "we can't help, we can't return funds drawn from fraud, we cant stop drafting fraudulent transactions on your account, we don't know if we can help return the funds but it would take 5 months". Today I was advise in the brand in Sheridan, if i file a complaint with the regulating entity OCC "Office of Controller of Currency" the brank may elect to terminate the account. The decision to terminate any service or lack there of with First Federal Savings & Loan has already been make by me, but that statement felt threatening and unprofessional. Im at a loss... We need to know we can trust our bank to keep our money safe!

Very good bank. The staff is very friendly. Always helpful. They helped me when I was having problems with the app. Solved the problem I was having. Best bank I have ever had....
