We felt Linda went above and beyond to answer our questions and make our home buying experience as smooth and easy as possible. She (and her assistant) responded quickly and were always readily available for anything we needed. She made complex and confusing processes simple and made us feel like our loan was always her top priority. We'll definitely seek her out the next time we need a load.

This was my first time working with Linda. My client was referred to her after another Lender was not able to fund their loan. Linda showed a great deal of talent in her ability to overcome lending challenges, to communicate consistently, and be incredibly attentive to both our shared client and myself. Thank you for a wonderful financing experience! Working with Linda was smooth and easy. Her team communicated well with us, and they helped us through the whole experience. They answered our many questions and always took the time to make sure we were informed and happy with the process. I would recommend Evergreen, Linda and her team, to anyone who is a first time homebuyer. Additionally, we were buying in Eugene, and despite the distance, we still had an amazing communication experience.

We chose Evergreen Home Loans since they were highly recommended by our realtor. It was not a good choice. I think this lender might be a good fit if you have a straight-forward salaried job, are a first-time buyer and like an avuncular feel. However, if you are self-employed, financially independent, want a jumbo loan or even like us own multiple businesses this is the wrong lender. They seemed unable to understand the complexity of our situation, disorganized (asking for the same documents multiple times in slightly different format, ie now send these same statements from your accountant, now send them from your accountant with a signature) and even asked us for a document that we had already sent. In the end after three weeks of headaches they denied our loan. We had to ask for an extension from our buyer (stressful!) and then went to Lakeside Mortgage who sent it through Union bank with no problems in two weeks. If I had chosen a different lender, it would have spared us a very stressful homebuying experience.

Danika went above and beyond to help our family be able to obtain our first home. She answered every question we had along the way, and was available to us whenever we needed her. I have no experience with any other mortgage lending company, but I hope the next company I go through has better customer service! Things are ok as long as you set up auto pay and never have any reason to call or adjust anything. We had a situation this month where I wanted to pay my June mortgage a few days early. I made my payment online like I always do, no concerns. There's an option to mark if this is a monthly payments or an extra and I marked that it was my monthly. Then the auto pay took another payment out, so I effectively paid double my monthly payment during a time when i desperatley could not have that happen. When I called to have the 2nd payment reversed, I was told that it would be back in my account by Wed (this was Thurs of the prior week). Not only is it not back in my account more than a week later, but when I called to ask about it again, the customer service representative, Belinda, was patronizing and condescending then hung up on me! If I could change mortgage companies, I totally would. And I definitely will not be recommending Evergreen to anyone I know! *Update - I called to check on the status of my reimbursement again and was told this time that they sent it back to me via paper check in the mail! I'm dropping my previous 2 star review to a single star.
