I have had the pleasure of working with CUofO for many years. I have financed (now) 5 cars through that wonderful organization. When I was trying to rebuild my credit and learn how to manage my finances, Donna Wood and Jennifer York helped me each time I reached a roadblock. I cannot say enough about the differences between a bank and a credit union. The credit union exists to help people navigate the difficulties when we may not have learned certain critical life lessons. I am now retired, have saved more than I ever thought possible and don't have money nightmares!

I have been a member of Credit Union of Ohio for almost 20 years and I will continue to bank there indefinitely - here's why. From day one, I have received nothing but professional, courteous and friendly service as well as super great rates on credit cards, auto loans and most recently a home equity loan. Application processed are easy, painless and are always processed quickly. Any time I have ever had questions, I send a quick email and my questions are always answered with very quick turnaround. When I have need to talk to someone via phone, I am always able to connect with an actual person without delay. Also, the Credit Union of Ohio mobile app is well designed and works flawlessly. There are plenty of branches throughout Columbus and I am never more than a few minutes away from one should I need to visit one.
Simply put - Credit Union of Ohio is the best!

Normally, I enjoy my time going into talking with everyone & depositing a check. But today was horrible! They would not cash a personal financial check made out to me! So I am disgusted with your institution. I am very concerned you will not let me have access to my account when needed. And stop changing what needs to be on my own check, in order to have it deposited! Yuk. Don’t know if I am going to stay with you guys

I have always found the Credit Union to be a great institution, competent and friendly, but today I am writing specifically to commend Amy, an employee who worked with me over the phone to resolve a tricky log-in problem. The problem resulted from a glitch in the password management function of a newly installed security program on my computer (it has since been fixed by the company), but at the time that I called the Credit Union, live support from the company was unavailable and it was imperative right then for me to access my account. I found it difficult to explain the odd issues I was running into and was afraid that the Credit Union rep would think I was just "clueless.” To my great relief, Amy turned out to be the perfect person in this situation. With calm and cheer she accepted the awkwardness with which I described the recurring glitch that prevented me from completing the log-in, and once she saw what was happening, she showed me how to work around it. Amy's special combination of personal kindness with professional expertise was a true lifesaver for me in a moment of crisis, and I will not soon forget it. Written in warm appreciation of Amy, outstanding employee of the Credit Union of Ohio.

Extremely slow service at the drive thru. The lobby service is also super slow. This is even without being busy. Sending your transaction through the tube in the drive thru is like sending it to a black hole. No one acknowledges that you are there or even greets you. A simple deposit transaction can take upwards of 10-15 minutes without anyone else in the line.
It would be nice if the atm machine would have the ability to accept deposits - but it does not.
I love this Credit Union and the concept of it - but they REALLY need to improve their customer service. It is lacking.
