Traveled to Oneonta for the week with my son's baseball team. I visited this bank to trade cash for quarters to use for laundry in our hotel and was refused because I'm not an account holder. I even offered to pay a fee and was still refused. I had heard so much about upstate NY hospitality, but it doesn't exist here. I recommend banking with the fine folks at Key Bank down the street, who helped me with quarters and thanked me for visiting. Be better NBT.

I have banked with NBT (before that Astoria Federal) on Pioneer St. in Cooperstown for over 30 years and I will never leave. I have had wonderful service and recently I had senior citizen brain freeze, a condition I hope was fleeting and left no scars, and came close to exploding my account. Mary Earl, the branch manager, handled my problem, solved everything and did so with that great personal touch I have come to love at here. She is such an asset to Cooperstown and to her customers.

Turned me away when I didn’t have my license and forgot my wallet and needed cash. Been to this bank multiple times since I was 16 and have my account number and multiple forms of identification. Rude greeting at the door.

NBT is easily the worst bank I've ever dealt with. Stay away!

Friendly tellers, conveniently located ATMs and branches.

I felt discriminated yesterday and every time I visit while at NBT bank on chestnut street and Oneonta N Y, location, by the attendant with short haired slender woman with glasses. Therefore yesterday, after giving my confidence and my money to this bank I felt obligated to take all my money out of this bank and deposit it another bank, due her verbal disrespect.
