I went to the Fairview branch in Hudson,NY to open an account for my mum.the banker Justine helped me and I thought he gave all the information to the bank since i gave him all the paperwork and as a banker he should know what other documents we need to submit but idk what happened keybank decided to close my mum’s account for fraudulent activity.i went to him again after contacting the fraud department and he was so confusing and giving me wrong information,he told me my mum’s account would be closed and she can never open an account with keybank etc.then i spoke to the fraud department again they said to go to the branch b/c the branch has to contact them for verification.so i went again . There was another banker she said justine sent her an email and she will talk to him and he will contact me but I was just waiting for a long time so decided to go there again and when i went there talked to him he straight up refused to help me .he was so rude .i was so shocked b/c that’s so unprofessional ,I asked him again to make sure ,” you’re not gonna call the fraud department?” And he again said “NO”.
I was so frustrated b/c my mum is an older lady yet i had to take her to the branch 3 times just so they can verify even i went there 4/5 times for the same matter and my mum’s important payment was on hold due to the reason and idk what he messed up b/c it never happened to me i have 2 a/cs with keybank my mum has an account with another bank now and it’s totally fine.
They way he treated us what so bad that Still the day it bothers me and now I’m traumatized to go to the branch b/c i have to face him.
I’ve been doing business with keybank for a long time , but I’ve never seen an employee to treat someone so unprofessionally when i was being nice to him.
Anyway, Melinda helped me thru the situation (I really appreciate her) in-fact, everyone else was nice (this 1 star is for them)except him.
idk what was wrong with him.b/c he’s clearly not good /really bad at doing his job
Hope he seeks medical attention asap .

Went today to close a line if credit that we had for our business that we never used and had for 21 years but closed 3 years ago. Banked there for 2 of our businesses and 2 personal accounts forever. Never received a bill, only loan statements with ZERO. They said we owe the $250.00 fee. Danielle Palmateer said they would send it to collections if we didn't pay it. Explained again we closed 3 years ago. She said they would go after personally then. The manager or loan manager, Jason Miscevis won't/can't waive it. What horrible customer service. Time to find a new bank!!!

After Buying First Niagara, this branch became so inefficient! Their services are not satisfying and the employee are nit expert. First Niagara used to be so much better. I am so annyoed that I almost want to pull myself out of this bank!
