I’m not sure if it’s due to the transition from Investors to Citizens bank. But Investors bank is by far is one of the worst experiences I have gone through.
On 01/08/2023 I attempted to purchase a cleaning service through AmniFY in the amount of $162.44. However it was declined and was told to try again or a different form of payment. I decided to utilize my credit card instead. I had to start all over and rebook the same service except this time the total amount totaled $177 because I did not apply the discount code I initially applied the first time. no problem. However after making the purchase in the amount of $177 and receiving the receipt via AmniFY I immediately noticed INVESTORS the payment of $162.45 pending. I contacted Investors immediately the same day 01/08/2023 and was advised by Lisa that it looks like it went through however it’s hard to determine because it is “pending” the charge can either drop or be posted and to wait 2 days (which I understood)

01/10/2023 spoke with Betsy explained to her in detail what occurred and was advised a dispute would be filed. During my interaction I advised i can provide proof that I purchased the same exact service on my credit card. She advised it was not needed and will notate the account.
01/10/2023 several hours later proof is needed. Provided all the proof needed. Per voicemail I need to show proof the amount of 162.45 was applied to a different card. However like I explained to Betsy and Lisa I had to restart in purchasing the service totaling a different amount of $177 because the discount code was not utilized the second time around. I tried to call Betsy back but was advised by Carmelo that Betsy was not available.
I asked to speak with leadership and spoke with Marvin.
I told Marvin I was speaking with AmniFY and they confirmed that there is NO purchased of $162.45. I asked if he can speak with them via conference call. And if he would like I can provide him the number to confirm it. He advise he can’t because THERE ARE OTHER DISPUTES he has to deal with and don not have the time but he spend the last 15 mins explaining why he can’t when he could of used that 15 minutes to speak with the rep as requested.
And I also told Marvin about another situation that occurred when I received my new debit card. I called to activate and confirmed the last 4 digits of where my card would be linked to my checking. Associate confirmed and linked the accounts HOWEVER my debit card was linked to my MOTHERS account. There is no association with my mothers account how they got connected I don’t know. And Marvin’s response “so what do you want me to do with that dispute????”
Listen to the recordings. Save yourself the trouble. It was the biggest mistake switching to investors. I was initially with @chase but switched to see maybe it’s more beneficial switching to a smaller bank. BAD IDEA!!!!! I’m waiting for the investigation to be completed and will go back to chase.
