We have a mortgage loan with this company. We are constantly put on hold multiple times, and never get the same person on the phone. On top of that we have been told different things from different people working there. The customer service is low, as well as the consistency being off. Northeast Home Loans is totally dysfunctional. They claim I have not made a payment for over two years yet I have all cancelled checks endorsed and cashed by them. Phoning their customer care line is a waste or time. You will start over every time with a new incompetent person, most can't speak English. Stay away from Passumpsic bank. They have been allowing charges to my debit care that was cancelled by them 2 years ago.

This company took over my home loan which was previously on auto pay. They relied on mail communications to tell me this news, which I didn’t receive or read. As a result, I missed my home payments for 3 month which ruined my otherwise perfect credit. Once I was made aware, I paid in full immediately. They refused to reverse it. Terrible organization. Hope they go out of business. If I get an opportunity to file a suit against them I will.

Do not use northeast home loan! Terrible customer service! We’ve had nothing but trouble with our escrow account, including our home insurance not being paid. They sent us a refund check, and subsequently canceled the check without notice, resulting in bank fees. Spoken with multiple people with customer service, none of them will call us back, or update the information they say they will.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We’re stuck with NEHL for 27 more years so hoping I can save someone else from this nightmare! They pulled a $3300 escrow payment from the wrong account. Admitted that their agent made the mistake. Took nearly a month to wire the money back into the account (but less than 12 hours to pull the payment from the correct account!!!!) and are now refusing to reimburse the fees that we incurred from our bank while it was overdrawn bc of this large sum coming out of the wrong account. $153 in fees that I was told by a “supervisor” at NEHL that we should just pay to our bank even though it was not our fault. They’re “oops!” has now cost US and they refuse to make it right. As soon as we can refinance, we are!!!
