I closed my account with Giltner State Bank. My payroll was still sent to my old account. I called on Friday and asked when the payment would be rejected so that the payroll administrator could reissue the payment. They assured me it would be done today, Monday. I called again. They said again it would be done sometime today. I spoke with Eric and asked if there was any sort of time frame they could give me. He stated no. There wasn't. No "let's see what I can do" no "I'm sorry that's the best I can do" just "no." So I said "so I just have to sit on my no money until you guys get your act together?" He said "now Emily there will be no whining since you had issues with your account that you could have reached out to us to fix but-" and I cut him off and asked "when? Now? I'm taking time out of my workday to call you now." And he said "well that's part of being an adult." Don't talk to me like you're my dad. The most unprofessional, unhelpful experience I have ever had. There is a reason I closed my account with them and will NEVER do business with them again. He was condescending and rude. I urge you all to do business with ANYONE but them.

I have utilized the services of this bank since approximately 1991. They have always.provided high quality customer service laced with kindness and compassion! This is hard to find in this world of today!
