Sharonview has always treated me well. They have great rates, service their own loans. I really enjoy banking with them. Most issues people have with financial institutions are self inflicted.

I have done business here for a ling time and they are excellent. I would highly recommend them for any lending needs, especially car loans, you have. Their rates beat everyone and ita easy to do. I have referred people to them before and noone is ever disappointed

I deposit 2-3 checks every week via the mobile app from my primary job and other work avenues. This week they have decided to put a 5 day hold on any check I deposit, whether at the app or the physical location. I have kept my account in the black and never had any trouble with my checks. The folks at the customer service refused to help me. This is unacceptable.

I’ve been with Sharonview for awhile and haven’t had any problems that wasn’t handled right away. Until recently that is. I’ve been depositing my pay checks via the app since Covid started because the bank shut down. I never had a check that was held, everything was available immediately. This past Monday I deposited my check like normal, and they decided to randomly put a 5 business day hold on it. Same check I have been depositing with them since I started banking with them, from the same company. Nothing was different. I tried to call the branch and was sent to their call center. Talked to someone who wasn’t helpful at all so I asked to speak to a manager. The woman told me “he” was in a meeting and he would call me back. About two hours later I got a call from a woman who claimed to be a manager at the call center. Said there was nothing she could do. My family members work at banks. I know you can take off the hold on a check. She refused to do so and told me they don’t do that. So they’re different from every other bank in America? I could understand if it was an unusual amount or if the check was from someone I hadn’t deposited before. The moment my money is released I’m going to withdraw every dime in my account and shut down my account completely. I’ve already opened an account with Truliant, hopefully they’ll be better.

Will be closing mine and my husband’s accounts. If you like having money taken out of your account at random times, sending you into the negative, this is the bank for you. Three times now, this week, they have taken amounts of 150 out of our accounts, sending us both into the negative. Thankfully we always keep extra money in savings. Worst bank ever.

I have a checking account a savings account i also have auto loans. I have always paid on time and never missed a payment. I have a good credit score because I do what I am supposed to do. I just bought a new camper and got it 2000.00 cheaper buy letting the dealer handle the financial part. Went to Sharon view who had a better interest rate. I made 3 different trips bringing in different financial statements. After the third time I received a call wanting me to bring in another statement. I told them to just cancel that I was not that hard up for a loan. I have a good auto rate and will leave that there for now but I plan on moving my business somewhere else that wants it. Not the credit union it used to be.On 10/25/2023 I received a call from Anita at Sharon View. Very nice lady. She really seemed to have my best interest in mind. After our conversation I decided to give Sharon View another try. Anita the branch manager.Leann a loan officer and one of the other girls went over and beyond their job to help me with my new camper. Leann was the person that made me a loan back in 2018 on my new truck. All three of them know that I pay on time and never miss a payment. All three also know that I have a high credit score. Those ladies really wanted to make me a loan. I want to give all three of them 5 plus stars. How ever to the people at Sharon View corporate office I just want to let you know that whoever your underwriter’s are are idiots. Because of their stupidity I spent another wasted day for nothing. I have never been run around like this before. I think the world of all the people at the Shelby branch but in the near future I will find a lower interest rate than I have now and when I do I plan on taking out my money and closing all my accounts. Your underwriter cost you a good customer and will probably cost you more good customers. It’s a crying shame that Sharon View is doing business with idiots like this.

Closing my account soon. Had account with them for several years. There's delay in your transactions which will cause you to over draft. Online banking is terrible. Spoke with different people and received different explanations. Use debit card sometimes it does show up on your transactions or balance. I heard terrible experiences but I finally experience for myself.

I have to laugh just to stop from crying. Banking with this establishment is just utterly ridiculous.
Banking with SFCU since relocating to NC has to be one of the Worst mistakes of my life.
direct deposit cleared in my account, then I obtain a money order, from SFCU. To make a deposit on my bills. City process cash faster. Ok I deposited it back into the same bank and account to pull the cash.
Tried everything to get the funds cleared!
Devastated would be an understatement, expressing doing business with this establishment!! No electricity, which means all my groceries will go bad, we are a family of 5 with me expecting in oct! No water, No AC until the 3rd when the money order clears.
I will close every accounts we have with this establishment. Don’t send me no I’m sorry response, because I already know you are!
