Shannon is the manager there and such a delight to do business with, she really is the truth and definition when it comes to A1 customer service

If I could give no stars I would. Small Business Owners BEWARE! We banked with Nova for around 2 years and had nothing but problems. They would constantly hold checks and give us the run around. They told us if we wanted to stop the holds they were putting on checks to start asking our customers for cashiers checks YET THEY STILL HELD SOME! It was nothing but a battle to get our money. Most of the staff is not helpful and every person I spoke to had a different answer to my questions. We moved banks 2 weeks ago and couldn't be more pleased. I would never recommend this credit union to anyone.

Absolutely horrible experience as a new client. I opened a couple of accounts with them. My checking account was approved for 500$ advance in case of emergency. Welp I had one a lot sooner than expected. I had no choice. I read over my contract again to be sure I followed the guidelines. I violated nothing. It took a couple weeks to get them money back in but again I was within the time period per my contract. I wanted to deposit A LOCAL MONEY ORDER for 900 and get 200 back. I was refused. Money orders are cash paid for. I was a suspect with a new account so treating me like a human being wasn’t on their agenda. They WANTED to tell me no. I wanted to speak to a manager but she WOULD NOT pick up the phone and dumped it right back on to her teller. I came around the drive Thru to attempt a cash advance. She just let my card sit on her counter. She NEVER attempted anything. I called my card company and there was no attempt or a declined transaction. I was so disgusted. Oh they were busy and absolutely freaking out. I swear that teller was going to cry. I can’t believe I followed all policy procedures and was still denied ANYTHING I could suggest or ask for. I closed my account today. The most pointless business deal I have ever made.

I went to this branch to open an account for my grandchild on a Tuesday (the only afternoon I have free). I had previously opened 2 other accounts for my other grandchildren. The teller gave me the paper and told me I needed a copy of my daughter's ID (she would also be on the account) and I would need my grandson's social security no. The next Tuesday, I returned with the completed paperwork, and the teller walked into an office and spoke with a lady, came back out and told me I had to have my grandchild's social security card. I explained I had opened 2 other accounts and didn't have to present the social security cards. The teller proceeded to tell me that the lady she spoke with was very knowledgeable and this is what she said I had to do. This teller nor the lady in the office made me feel they wanted my business. The conversation was offensive, and it was obvious the lady in the office couldn't be bothered with opening another account. When I opened the previous 2 accounts, I went into an office and spoke with a representative that assisted me in setting up the accounts. I left the branch, contemplating whether to close the other 2 accounts and open all 3 accounts at the State Employees Credit Union. I did not close the other 2 accounts, but will be going to SECU to open this 3rd account, and will probably move the other 2 accounts. I can honestly say that in my 61 yrs., I have never been dismissed from a financial institution that did not want my business.

I made an account with Nova CU and on many occasions I tried setting appointments up until I finally got an appointment. I showed up to the building and was told the person I had the meeting with was sick and that nobody could help me until the next day. Very unprofessional and a waste of time. Never did I get help on any financial conquests. Very very poor CU.

This credit union deserves 10 stars. From the moment I spoke to the first person on the phone, I had exceptional customer service. Then I went to the branch and met some of the awesome employees there. The customer service was top notch. They made me feel welcome and like a person not just a number. They made my auto loan seamless. It was by far the easiest process of buying a car I ever went through. I want to shout out Maria, Kelly, Shannon, and Germania.
