Competitive, transparent, and fair. I had some silver I wanted to sell, they offered me $100 more then their competitor in Spruce Pine. I was told how much they wanted to make on each piece, which was easily verifiable by looking up current spot prices, and was given a fair offer based on that. The process was quick and easy. While in the store I also witnessed the owner and employee eager to give other customers deals and help. 100% recommend.

Funny how EVERY positive review was posted EXACTLY 8 months ago the day the buisness went live on here. The only way this is possible is if they were written by people who own the buisness or are friends of the people and were asked to leave a positive review, because this place is definitely not worth 5 stars. The reviews themselves about giving way more for gold than anyone else are NOT true. Very expensive on used products, especially some of the hunting supplies. Didn't even care to look at anything else.

Great place to get almost anything at a good price. Fair and honest prices and offers. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Even if you don't need to sell or pawn anything it's a great place to find a good deal. It's way better than Wal-Mart and it's a lot closer, without all the crowds and the random weirdos you see there haha. It's the only pawnshop in Burnsville and they buy and sell almost anything.

I have always had a great experience in this shop! I like the owner and his right hand man that does the daily business. I've bought several things from this business since they've been open and I've found them to be professional and willing to negotiate pawn prices and sales!
(Unfortunately they have received negative comments and reviews. Personally I believe this is due to these two men doing their very best to run a legitimate, law abiding, profitable pawn shop.)
Not for one second do I believe that either of these good at heart men, trying to make a living would EVER say or do anything "out of the way" especially to a woman or you girl! EVERYONE is perfectly safe and welcome at Maney's pawn and loan!

Not very friendly people! Asked about a guitar on display until the owner came out and said it wasn't for sale, he made a joke about it being worth a lot of money and when I called him out on it he got extremely hostile! A subtle joke goes a long way to show how some people truly are just in their own head and can't handle themselves. The man working the counter however was very polite and I give him a 10/10. The owner also cussed me out, to which I reciprocated and cussed him out as well. I was then asked to leave the store which I did but not after profanities were exchanged. Too bad the guy can't play a guitar anyway! P.S. They also followed me and my girlfriend out of the store, which wasn't exactly the most cordial thing to do.

Took a trip here with my fourteen year old daughter, and the middle aged man with longer hair behind the counter kept making lewd comments towards her and asking what size jeans I wore. When asked to stop he looked me dead in the eyes and said "I like men too" and began yelling very loud. At that point I had packed up and left with my daughter for our safety.
