I do not recommend. The tellers seem to be very uninformed. 2 of my insurance checks from a car crash had to be held for 10 DAYS!
Oh actually MORE ( of course they mean business days). Took the 3rd check in today to just cash it. NOPE, not only am I not able to cash it. She says they need to hold the check for 5 days. Huh? When I asked why such a difference in time, she said "I don't know." Then asked another teller and, again I got "I don't know" Ok.....I was also told that after the 5 days I would have to transfer the money from my savings to checking to get it. WHAT?I can't wait till they release my money. I will be closing my accounts.

I've been banking with WCU for over 8 years. I deal with the Columbia Falls Branch for the most part.they have always been helpful and in good spirits when I have needed help. Or ask questions about info on loans. In the time I've been with them I've refinanced my home and saved. Also got the best rate on my new truck. Thank you WFU for your great service...

Wishing there was a zero star rating for this organization today. I was on hold for over 12 minutes and then the surly ignorant woman who answered the phone transferred me to NOWHERE when I asked to speak to a manager about getting a proof of pay-off for a home loan and also needed to straighten out the names on our savings account. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A BANK OR CREDIT UNION EVER IN MY EXPERIENCE.

Worst place to bank ever if you want checks or to transfer money to a spouse. I've never wished to have a BofA near me more. Do yourself a favor and don't bank here.

The lady I was trying to get some help from was so rude and actually told me it was a privilege for me to have a bank account with the services they offer. I can’t wait to cancel my account here. They keep charging me for fees that I have tied to opt out of. Overdraft protection is a privilege as well she said. I am shocked by the way she talked to me and I will definitely be going to another bank in the Columbia Falls area. Shame on you Whitefish Credit Union. I’ve been banking here over a year now and I will no longer be a member here due to poor customer service.
