Great bank! I love that the phone rings, and they answer. There's no "press 9 for more options". They're very responsive, and helpful. They have great rates if you're interested in loans. Their mobile app is on par with any other major bank. Their savings account rates are negligible, but so is almost every other bank. They don't sell my info to a bunch of credit card companies, and rarely send spam mail. They aren't predatory (cough, Wells Fargo, cough).
Switching to MEFCU a few years ago has been great, and I haven't looked back. I highly recommend!
I can't speak to the other commenters posts about home loans, as I got mine through another lender (wasn't with MEFCU at the time), but I'm sure they offer good rates. Car rates appear to be the best you can get.

I hope I could give 0 star. MEDCU is not the one it was before they separated from Mayo Clinic. We had a mortgage six years ago and very satisfied. This time, I hope I could have chose other banks. Worst experience ever! The banker is not responsive. The assistance doesn’t care about if you can close your home on time or not. Basically they just don’t care, our home closing was almost delayed. We had everything scheduled, flights, home cleaning, home moving, everything. they just said oh it might be delayed because you didn’t provide the right information. They just don’t double check the information. Plus, they automatically assigned an home insurance company I never contacted. If I didn’t catch that, it will be it. Worst experience and never recommend anymore

We have banked with the Mayo Employees Federal Credit Union for many years. We have also had several loans with this institution. After deciding to relocate, we choose to go with them a third time for a home loan. We started the process, received pre-approval, and then made an offer on a home. After making an offer on a home and selecting a closing date with the realtor, my partner contacted the loan officer at Mayo Credit Union. She informed them that we had made an offer on a house and asked what information they needed. The loan officer informed her that they would eventually need certain items and that they would be in contact later in the process.
Several weeks went by and our realtor contacted us informing us that the title company had become worried as they had not heard from our loan agency. We contacted the loan agent at Mayo Credit Union who informed us that they had not received certain paperwork, so they had not started the process. Even worse was that they would not be able to get things in order until forty-five days after our original closing date.
When my partner asked what we were supposed to do as we were already in the process of moving out of our current home and hired a moving company. The response that I felt was cold, uncaring, and unprofessional was something along the lines of "Well, you will have to talk to your realtor to see if they will extend the closing date."
We were appalled at that response. My partner and I are not the professionals in this area. We contacted the credit union and asked what information they needed. They told us to wait on them. Our mistake was that we trusted them and waited patiently while nothing was happening. Their mistake could have cost use thousands of dollars in damages as well as losing the house we had placed an offer on.
Because of this, we choose to go with a different agency that was able to get it the loan process done much quicker than Mayo. I would not recommend them to anyone at this point as they were not even willing to correct their mistake as the professional.
