We have done two Home loans through Home Federal and one elsewhere. Without a doubt Kim has always made it a simple and great experience. It does truly feel like she is working for you and will work with you to get the best rates. She is always available and has time to answer questions. We've got the same rates from other banks but appreciate Kim's service so much we always decide to go back to Home Federal. We do not have personal banking through them, so I cannot comment on those services.

I love having an account with this bank! I closed my account a year ago, and had it reopened without any issues and I have never thought about taking my banking endeavors anywhere else. I tried one other bank in Rochester when I closed the first time, only to be back as a loyal consumer within a few months. Customer service is always hospitable, any minute issues I may have are ALWAYS taken care of in an instant, any concerns I have of charges or issues with my account are always handled in a professional and timely manner and I respect the relationship I’ve had with Home Federal Savings. I look forward to the future and will always refer friends and family to this great business. Thank you for all you’ve done for us so far!

My wife and I used Home Federal recently for our mortgage and were greatly pleased with the timeliness and professionalism of their staff. Everything came together very smoothly and after this experience we have gone on to add several other accounts and have appreciated the communication from other bank staff we began to work with. I have been a Home Federal customer for over 33 years. I will be closing my account very soon due to a couple incidents. The easiest one to detail is the order of checks HF ordered on my behalf and charged me for---without any notice or my approval. The order showed up in the mail and I was billed. Yes---I was refunded after raising the issue, but some might call that incompetence. The other event involved a family member with a rollover IRA that was "characterized" by HF as a distribution, sending us to IRS hell for some time. We're still not sure it got sorted out right months later. Not good. Best of luck.

I am very disappointed in this bank. I will be closing my account and going somewhere that is a normal bank!! They close at 5:30pm so they make it impossible to cash your check. Then they open at 8:30am which in my opinion is to late. Saturday they are open but if you deposit your check you wont have access to it until Monday! They have NO update ATM for there customers where you can deposit checks or screen shot and upload it to your account. They really need to step up there game! Then when can make it ... It takes 1 business day to process if you don't have matching funds. They wont give you any money back from your check if even it shows in my account that the same checks have been getting processed with no problems. I have been a loyal customers for years! Your bank sucks, and I am not referring anyone to your crappy small bank.
