Terrible experience with customer service. Went to refinance car and was told to take title to DMV to change lien holder. I took 45 minutes of my day and fuel to go to DMV only to be told I had to have lien from other bank before proceeding. Southpoint rep made the mistake and both rep and supervisor would not offer to cover title cost to make up for their mistake. They acted like they didn't even care. Worst bank experience I've ever had. I've changed to another bank that actually cares now.

Not a very good bank at all. Horrible customer service. I’ve been banking here for almost a year and just recently closed my account due to the lack of communication and continued problems.

I’m always having problems with this bank and only been with them for 6 months. Either an error with my card or heavy lack of communication. In the process of closing down the account and going somewhere else.

I have been with SouthPoint for something like 8 years now, and they have been such an amazing bank/credit union. I don't have amazing credit but they helped me out when I needed it for a debt consolidation loan, after the big corporate banks had tuned me down. So I have stayed with them ever since. Everyone at all locations have always been very friendly and helpful.

I used to love this bank everyone was friendly knows who you are etc...but after the last 2 weeks of dealing with them and jumping through hoops to get them what they need they still cant have the courtesy of calling back when they tell someone they will beyond ridiculous. Will be closing my accounts and refinancing my loans through my new bank just to never have to deal with this kind of incompetence again it's not that hard to make a phone call.

I'm very happy to have my auto loan with SouthPoint, I've moved my primary banking to also be through them. Real people who do their best to help out other real people. I hope the universe gives back the acts of kindness you give to others.

Stay far away from this company they are a joke! They use the name credit union but they are far from it. Wells fargo has better lending practices than they do.
