I was in a vehicle buyback situation and also trying to buy my next vehicle at the same time. Meghan took the time to watch for the loan payoff from the dealership and guided me through the process of buying a vehicle out of state which I had never done before. She took care of all my loan paperwork and worked with the dealership to assist me with financing my new vehicle. I was able to docusign everything and never stepped foot in the bank for the whole process. It was a lot of different things at once and Meghan made it go so smoothly!

I banked here for about 10 years and everyone I've spoken with here has always been pleasant.
Three month's ago I had gone on maternity leave, I had complications and had an emergency c-section and had severe sepsis. My recovery was long and kept me bedridden for about a month. Mind you, most of everything fell off the planet except for my health and my new baby. Now three months later I finally feel like myself again. Unfortunately, during those three months, I hadn't made a payment towards my line-of-credit. I was a little over $300 past due. I absolutely should have called and explained the situation, or had my fiance call. But I didn't. My savings was spent as other emergencies had come up and I was collecting disability checks through my work insurance. I remotely deposited one of these four checks into my MMFCU account and they placed a 12-day hold on it and said there were issues with security and it was flagged while my other checks never had an issue through my other credit union. At this point, we're going to the food shelf and borrowing money from loved ones. Finally after the 12-day hold my disability check was in my account but only for a day as someone had drained it down to the cent. I thought someone robbed me, and it was the weekend so I couldn't speak with anyone who could answer my questions. Finally, come Monday I spoke with someone to learn that MMFCU had taken my entire checking account of $706.67 and applied it to my line of credit and sent it off to collections. Instead of just taking what was due of over $300, they took my entire checking account. Not only did I wait 12 days for my disability check, but once it was in they took it and sent it. They said they had been reaching out to resolve this and called and sent mail. Well, I had no voicemails or missed calls from them, nor was it ever brought to my attention when I had called, and I was told I needed to change my address only through the mail, which I wasn't receiving. Then I was told I could have changed it online only then it was too late. Just bologna.
I know this is all a blessing in disguise, for me and for them probably too. But thank you MMFCU for violating me when I was already down. Maybe I should have kept the extra $300 a clerk accidentally gave me once. I had your back but you didn't have mine.

Insane. It is 2023 and i cant even pay my credit card or car payment from another institution online. They want me to write a check and send in. Back to the 90's i guess. Had to pay my credit card payment at a different bank all together. Had i k own how far behind and confusing this would be, never would have been a customer.
