If I could give it 0 stars I would. They don’t seem to have the ability to stop online payments from going through on your checking account. Good luck if you have any mix up in your bank account that causes you to go neck deep into NSF fees, even if it was $5 it puts that + $35 into the negative. And I’m talking about $100+ deep into NSF fees. That’s a lot for someone that’s already financially struggling. You don’t have $100, let alone more on hand. They won’t help except paying some small % of the NSF fees, and expect you to pay everything else back ($100+ including the negative payments you already owe) threatening to send it to collections if you don’t pay it by a certain date. And then have the audacity to tell you to start a new checking account with them after closing your main account.
Worst experience I’ve had with a credit union. Definitely wouldn’t recommend them, very unprofessional and have a very poor way of handling things, especially electronically. They don’t care if they steal your money. I’d recommend finding a better credit union that respects and honors their customers.

First location I went to by cub refused me by saying they have no bankers. Sent me to the one on 40th. I explained my situation and that I needed help badly. Almost started crying and then once again refused me all I want to do is open an account. A savings and checking. As a college town I expect a lot more.

Date 07-10-2022. I recently tried to pay my lawyer and to my extreme embarrassment the payment would not go trough. So I am shutting down my account. If I can’t even pay my lawyer to set up a trust after my wife died why should I trust them? I informed them to let the payment go through. I told them the exact amount but I guess that didn’t matter. I had more than enough money to cover the bill. This isn’t the only time I have been disappointed.
Date 07-10-2022. The employees are very nice and helpful but I am tired. We have been meaning to switch banks for a while now. I just didn’t want to switch everything around. First my wife’s death now this. This was the last straw. North Shore Bank sounds like a good bank. My lawyer and financial consultant recommended them.
Now my card won’t work. It just keeps adding up. It took 15 tries to get the necklace erns for my family. Card won’t work in pop machines. I can’t wait til Monday so I can switch everything and transfer 90% of the money.
The internet is always down or glitching. I always have to shut my phone down so the app can reboot. Only this app.

Easy transactions and friendly customer service. Switched to them from superior choice credit union many years ago and I am glad I did. I find most disappointed customers tend to be the problem and not the credit union.

Staff is always friendly, and knowledgeable about current banking practices. You can't go wrong with members cooperative credit union!

Members was awesome for a while, but do not get an auto loan. It's been 4 months and they are allowing the Gap insurance to screw over my credit and refuse to pay the balance of loan. I hit a deer for the first time in my life (im 55) I now do not have a vehicle to get to work, I was told initial payout from main auto insurance would cover until Gap, but my credit is now showing 30+ days late on my payments so I can't even get a loan from elsewhere to get a new car.... my credit is dropping DAILY.... and here I was always raving what an awesome small town personal experience Members provided.
