Affinity's new location is a million times better than the old, and I say this without exaggerating on that number. Very modern and faster customer service. The drive through is something I would be 99% of their customers have wished for. The new bank is much bigger and the parking is less congested than the old location that they shared a lot with neighboring businesses. They even paid attention to the small details like complimentary tampons and baby diapers in the bathroom. Affinity went from worst to first as far as interior of Duluth banks go. Their employees have always been nice, but they seem extra happy to be where they are today.

I have been with Affinity for awhile now. There has been a lot of change recently in loan officers, and how they look at the person they're working with. I recently went and applied for an auto loan. They denied me a loan due to "excessive obligation in relation to income" and "Delinquent past or current credit obligations". I am completely current will all my obligations. Also, the only thing delinquent was a $30 bill from a internet provider from 2018 because of poor communication from the provider. Well, it's funny how this is how they see me, but when I applied to Toyota Financial to purchase a new vehicle they gave me 2.99% for 72 months which is A+ tier. The rate from Affinity was going to be at least twice as much. Toyota probably gave me a good rate being that I always pay my bills on time or ahead. I have never defaulted on a loan from the credit union, or from any other lender. I just got done paying a loan off from the credit union, and we currently have other loans from them which are either on time or ahead. The banking experience from Affinity is above average, and they finally have their banking application figured out. The new building is great in Duluth, but all the people I had relationships with in the loan section has moved on to other opportunities. My wife and I are actively looking at our options for credit unions in the area. We will probably move once we pay off one more loan from them.

Incredibly unprofessional. I thought Wells Fargo had issues but I had fewer problems being a customer for 15+ years at WF compared to less than one month as a "member" of Affinity Plus. Thankfully this was figured out before switching all of our accounts over. If you are on the fence of changing banks or unsure of your current financial institution: do yourself a huge favor and just stay put

Customer service is A+. Taking out a car loans was very quick and easy. They work with people as individuals not a number like big banks. They are the best!!

Emily, was fabulous we were 4 minutes late and lobby closed. We drove Grand Rapids to purchase a car. We were pre-approved for a auto loan. Wanted to complete our transaction pickup check for dealership. We went through the drive through the teller was sweet. Took all our information. Came back asked us to drive around to the front and wait. Emily came out with a welcoming smile for us to come in. In no time we were on our way with check in hand. Everything went smoothly. I would recommend Duluth Affinity Plus a wonderful place to do business.
